Absolutely top notch video. Your the only go to guy for raid videos i use and for how the many years youtube has existed, this deserved my first comment on anything youtube ever! How you showed this guy with more accessible realistic stats to start was exactly what I wanted to see instead of just the built to the gills max potential. I would love to see a lot more of your showcases with that view point included like you did this one oh so well.
I'll pick him up. There's not many champs that do AoE hex. Archer isn't even available anymore. Karilon, Cleoptrix, Maranix an Vildrax seem to suck. We all get a Mithrala, which is good, but alternatively there's only 5 good champs in the pool that have an AoE hex. I might not get another AoE hex champ for ages, and we have 3 hydra keys...
Considering he had 9k atk and almost 400% crit dmg with 40% guaranteed ignore defense from gear and great hall + potential helm smasher, he seems to be really weak to me.. with these conditions almost any other champ could do the same ~2 million aoe on the dead heads. Also he is quite useless for sintranos, so for me its a hard pass... Thanks for the really detailed vid man!
@@aelinstue9431 but don't compare them like that. Taras has 115k hp, 310 crit dmg plus great hall. So weaker stats. But the fusion in general compared to other attack dmg dealers is weaker
I was pretty concerned about his A3 mechanic not doing bonus damage to already present 2 turn hex debuffs. His A1 is actually bad for his champion. Imo they should just fix his A3 placing bonus damage to any hex debuff placed by this champion.
Skratch, thank you for showcasing a realistic build! You are the only CC I've seen do that for this champ. If you get a good response, please do more vids like this going forward! It really helps those who are still progressing.
Thanks so much for your honest opinion and not just give fluff and hype. This sort of content allows me to do educated decisions on how to proceed. To me this looks like a nice champion for early or mid-game, but doesn't offer anything significant to change how I fight hydra or any other stage/dungeon/boss.

I was just looking at him as a 2nd dd to go with Varl. His ability to hex means I don't need cursed or mithrala. I'm looking for pretty decent not great, so I'm gonna go for it. Good expectations vid though

There's a few champs with spread buffs and two Epics with both a Hex debuff and spread debuff. I'd rather use Akemtum who has a 50% chance to spread debuffs on his A1, plus he also has a poison debuff on his A1(when booked). He's easier to book as well. I not sure I like the A1 of this champ. Akemtum is better IMO because he also applies a Hex on a 1 turn cooldown (when fully booked) on his A2.

Maybe a different perspective but as an early game player (40d) I have no hex. The hex damage he offers isn’t “skewed” it’s additional and his to have!
Solid option for hex dps pure hydra focused. All my hex champs are Mithrala, artak, wyxnell, eostrid, and so on. Rule way to squishy probably same issue I will find with him but he can spread the hex better. I can reach 6 k attack and 400 a accuracy easy and I collect all Pokemon. He won't change my account but he will add to the arsenal.
Go for then all anyways and regardless of what guestimate is on his hex i dont have any amazing hex sets and limited hex champs. Might build him, might not but since all i have to do is play the game like normal, I'll do that and get a free champ.
Please make a comparison between, this new fusion and huntmaster. Ruel the huntmaster , he was one of the first legendary in my account, but i never upgraded him since, now i also have cleopterix and thia the tomm angel, i wanna know which one is the best hydra hex damage dealer.
Always do the fusion. 5 reasons as to why: 1: If it's a bad fusion champ, they may buff that champ later. 2: Someone may find a crazy use for that champ later. 3: That bad fusion champ may be really useful in new content in the game. 4: Your going to pull a dupe later. Because Paylarium like to boost pull rates for past fusion champs. 5: You are a content creator and want views.

As for pulling dupes. I have 3 Helicaths, 2 Taturas, 2 Wixwells, 2 Maranix, and 2 Gaius. I play for fusions and CvC. If you are going to play the game, get all the legos you can get. Fill out your faction guardians, then start plusing champs.
I started after Rotos and Helicath fusion, still didn't get none of them, hell I even opened 18 sacreds for Rotos in active 25x. The myth about increased drop rates for fusions is bs.
@@apostle303 Disagree. I have pulled Rotos, Hurndig, Yoshi the Drunkard, Bergoth the Malformed, Drokgul the Gaunt, Kreela Witch-Arm, Kantra the Cyclone, Skull Lord Var-Gall, and Sir Nicholas. That's 9 non dupe past fusion champs. I have also pulled 2 Helicaths, 1 Tatura, 1 Wixwell, 1 Maranix, and 1 Gaius from shards. That are dupes for fusions that I did. That's a grand total of 15 past fusion champs from shards. 5 of which I did the fusion for. Also I have dupes for daily login champs, and clan shop champs. There are videos on the math for pulling targeted champions on a 25x. Saph from HH Gaming is a excellent source for the math. 18 shards on average is not enough to get a targeted champion. I have been playing this game for 3 1/2 years. Play everyday. Do every fusion. So to recap. I have 47 fusion champs. 6 are dupes from shards, 9 are past fusion champs that were before I played the game. I have been playing everyday for 3 1/2 years.
5 : 40 skorid profits from heads being killed i don t think more than other dps if heads are killed often and he is only hex champ he will have problems keeping hex up for the A2 also i don t think i would want to run him without mercyless 100% ignore defense would be the goal like: 35% set + 15% skill + 20% area + 15% cruelty +25% helmsmasher so up to 110% so 100% but not all the time because of cruelty and helmsmasher if he has a dmg cap that would be kind of a scam from plarium
@@SkratchPlays i saw him hitting the same dmg numbers around 2,2 mio on a head with weaken (and def down) and without (Decapitated and not the tank head) that was strange maybe there really is a dmg cap? but why? he s not a max hp champ kinda scammy

This is exactly what I'm doing....as someone who has entered the late game this champ is useless...I still have 5 legendries I need masteries and books on, I'll never have enough spare books to put into this champion.
If you are going to do this type of test then you should probably have done it on normal. Anybody doing brutal definitely has the gear. I’m 6 months in and have all types of merciless, slayer, savage, fatal, stone skin, protection, cruel gear. Bloodshields and all. I can’t do full 9 piece or gear a bunch of champs. Maybe 2 but this is definitely not an accurate picture of somebody in a good clan that 1 keys CB at every level. Does hydra every week, in arena plat, can farm hard 10, can scale doom tower hard, get kind of far in cursed city, and so on.
@@SkratchPlays the gear you have on would be used in normal.. That’s why it’s a bad test. If I was doing brutal.. I would out speed every head and meet all res and acc requirements. The specific test you did would have been a better representation in normal. In brutal, it’s misleading because the gear would be much better
I’ve been playing since the vergumkaar fusion. This champion will not help me maybe if they gave us a perfect soul when you obtain him but nope. Easy skip for me.
Depending on where you are at in the game fusions can be done as F2P, might have to save and just do every 2nd or 3rd one. The other part is time depending on were you are in the game. I good helpful clan makes it easier as well. If you can get double rewards from UNM Clan Boss daily that makes having the needed resources so much easier.

the pool gets extended if you put aoe a1 champs into the pool who can use a hex set

My issue with him is, that he is the one who has to place the hex. That is kind of hard to do, pluss he requires acc as a nuker.

in this game not exist only end game players...or cashers..so for f2p and low spenders he is very good.
