These are two heavyweights. I believe they could give any team in the playoffs a good series, and possibly win. Book deserves some credit here. Suns were down and frustrated from all the bad calls. But Book's energy kind-of worked against what the Clips were trying defensively. He just attacked their formations and got to the rim, or found his teammates. And when he had space, his shot was true. He was big tonight.
I remember that kind of confidence from those two against the Mavs last year 🤣🤣🤣

I think we gotta start looking at play-styles and why FTs are the way they are, FT attempts aren't necessarily a dictator of ref favoritism more so how the Suns didn't attack the paint and took far more jumpshots and mid ranges compared to the Clippers
@@BayAreaHoops415 Exactly this. Suns went to their spot in the midrange while the Clippers were going to the paint. I wouldn't be complaining about not getting fts cause playing that style got them the win. CP3's shot were falling so he kept attacking Zubac and other slow footed big. Booker kept catching the ball from behind the arc while on the move and would make it look like he's going to the rim but stops on a dime for a pull up over and over again. Clippers didn't adjust quick enough and Booker made them pay.
Idk how people say book isn’t a winning player. Will defend the best player, hustle for loose balls, attack the rim, make plays for others.

Great win for the Suns but a lot of concerns as well.
The Suns starters outscored the ENTIRE Clippers team. This may sound great, but also goes to show how top heavy this Suns team is. Durant and Booker both played 40+ mins in games 1 and 2. Hell, CP3 is 37 yo and played nearly 40 mins. As the playoffs drag on, idk if it is sustainable to continue playing these guys this heavy. I really hope Cam Payne comes back soon.

@@Reecl. What you failed to mention is that for those other teams after there starting 5 there is like 3-4 players with 20-28min each. Suns average 10--15 for 2 or 3 players off bench. Durant, Booker and especially Paul are walking injuries waiting to happen.
