I love Alex’s voice when he asked her. He’s very gentle when it comes to her. Such a happiness that didn’t get enough time.
Absolutely 🥺
I agree. I noticed it too. I get butterflies in my stomach
He was the love she always deserved but hadn't received until they met.
This was such an important moment for Alex and Norma's relationship because all he EVER asked for was that she tell him the truth. Here, she finally did. And for Norma, she always hid behind her lies, but she finally trusted Alex enough to let herself be truly vulnerable to him.
Exactly, when she was talking to Alex you can tell it was her do or die moment she had been there before...but Alex was different. He stood by her side...because no matter how way out it seemed to an outsider. It was the truth.
she 'never loved anyone else enough before' to tell them the truth
That’s only because when you’re with someone you truly love, you will always feel comfortable enough to let them know everything you have to hide, everything that you have to show them, everything that you have to give. And that’s what true love is all about
One of Farmiga's best scenes in the series even though there are literally COUNTLESS others to choose from. No one combines power and fragility like her Norma Bates. Her acting here is just off the wall spectacular. Solitary nomination for Farmiga aside, the Emmys have ZERO credibility after consistently ignoring both the brilliance of this show and the phenomenal quality of Farmiga and Highmore's performances.
Norma is such a great character. So entertaining to watch. So chaotic, so crazy, and so loving.
She also has a great sense of humor
I don't understand people who doesn't love Norma, she is just a baby who deserves be protect.
she made her son psycho too😭
how their relationship ended is probably the saddest thing in the show...
I can totally agree with you:(
Vera Farmiga is an outstanding actress! This scene is unforgettable🥰
im still not over this show , anyone else still rewatching this?
I only watch parts with Norma and Romero...when I see other characters i get annoyed and skip as fast as i can.
Buyi Majola omg samee 😂
@@lorareyn503 😅😅😅
@@lorareyn503 dont you think the producers were lazy. Like they should have extended the show. I wanted to see Norma and Romero doing more stuff in life, like going on vacation, having a baby, being a grandma, maybe Romero finding out that he has a half sister or something and Norman could've still kept killing people.
Buyi Majola i think they definitely should have done that , when i started watching bates motel i knew that norma would eventually die but i thought it would be like in the end of season five and till then they would be happy ..lol anyways at least we have season 4
Romero was the best character.
And I love how low they speak to each other, like they whispering and its soft and tender.
I dont care this scene got me!!!! Especially her reaction when she saw he still loved her and still wanted to be with her omg!!! I loved how vulnerable she was in front of him confessing all this and he just hit her with unconditional love that she couldnt even believe!
I love the chemistry between these two actors, tragic how there romance never lasted long.
“Mistake? It wasn’t a mistake. It was a way of life. It happened for years and I loved him.”
I’ll never get over the character of Norma Bates or this show. No one ever truly knows what’s she’s gone through in the first season and totally judges her for how she acts - only to realize she’s lived one of the hardest lives I’ve ever watched portrayed in a show. She’s so strong.
"Okay."
*pause*
"Where we goin?"
*Heart melts instantaneously*
couldn't have loved Romero character more..my god what a man
The minute I fell in love with Alex: "Okay. Where we going?"
Norma subconsciously knew this was the time to let herself go and test Romeros genuine feelings for her.
this is the best couple . just the best. they loved each other unconditionally, u need to be blind not to see their chemistry and love .
Well..not unconditionally
Norma cracks me up in the beginning...and Alex is like wtf
Man I really wanted these 2 to have a happily ever after, even though I knew it wouldn't happen, I still wished.
I’ve seen this scene so many times and every single time I cry! The acting is superb!!
And this is why Romero killed Chick the first chance he got.
So much 🥰😍😍😍😍 Alex and Norma forever. That moment Norma realizes he’s not going to leave, that feeling of grace and love and relief that he accepts what she considers the ugliest part of herself, that he isn’t disgusted or judging her, that he just loves her... amazing!
She’s a phenomenal actress
Norma is someone u rlly wanna protect no matter what
Vera Farmiga is brilliant. What an actress! I can imagine her in her early twenties playing Bonnie Parker if they had shot a reboot of the movie Bonnie and Clyde.
Holy Shit. the definition of unconditional true love i think
for reallll.. im so sad :(((
This is one of the best shows ever and I usually hate tv series based on movies
this video contains the single best moment between Alex and norma because he sees this part of norma and he accepts her, isn't repulsed by her and wants to stand by her. and for the life norma lived that was beautiful 😍 😢
Relationship goals... to be accepted for your greatest demons
bates motel is what riverdale wants to be
Riverdale is a joke, it shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence as this show.
@@H.K.5 Yes that is so true
I was thinking last days the same
@@H.K.5 agreed Bates Motel is a masterpiece ngl but Riverdale is a different story why is riverdale so liked and bates motel is just left in the dark?
Bruh the ending made want to die
Yeetokyeet
It sounds like you were very passionate with the characters, same as I. Be safe. ❤️
Benjamin Be safe? Damm, I was gunna jump off a cliff ;( but fine
One of the many reasons why Norma and Alex made the perfect couple is because they both had blood on their hands. They both did bad things in the past that they weren't proud of. But because of that "shared experience" and both being damaged people, it was the perfect foundation for them coming together and finding a kindred spirit between themselves.........
I'll never be 'over this' show! Incredible acting. Heartbreaking story. I've rewatched at least 3-4 times
I’m so sad about what happened to them 😭
It is one of the best shows ever and one of the few to stick the landing.
But...i wish there was more seasons. Overall the show was stellar the cast, crew, tone, writing, acting, and story manage to do justice to a beloved property. ❤❤❤
So sweet, he love her enough to be willing to sacrifice anything for her
freakin gut punch. for once im gonna be honest and say i was crying
Just a beautiful scene.
So now you know who you married to. And I should’ve told you before. But I’ve never loved anyone enough to feel obligated to be honest with them.😢 mmmm!!! Credits to the writers ❤
I know Lil about the story, just started watching today; But She feels like she has to apologize for having been sexual/ abuse with brother!?
It’s not on Netflix in the uk England anymore , it should still be on amazon prime though. I’m personally gonna buy the whole show on UA-cam digitally 😊
Thai scene was one the the most raw , honeys between Alex and Norma . How I wished they had more torn together . I bough the whole Series on iTunes !! Vera is 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
My past seem worse like her I feel bad for her so much something in common about people don’t want to know their past is no one business only themselves to keep it safe not be hurt again
He called me. Didnt pick up. Too flabbergasted.
I think chick saw how broken Norma was and decided to let her secrets rest
He truly loved her enough that it was revealed if Norman didn’t kill him he would have properly buried Norma then shot himself on top of her grave.
Romero❤️😍
Woo!
I kinda feel sympathy for Norma she was in an abusive relationship she left and tried to balance a good life for Insane Norman while holding on to these terrible things on her past as well as being threatened by others etc. People say she hated Dylan but she had him at a young age had to lie to Her first husband about Dylan’s father and yet when Dylan moved out his words to her were “Drop dead bitch,” Rest in peace you angel.❤❤
this guy is Gotham mayor from c nolan
Batman trilogy
00:01
Momma ❤
This is diametrically opposed of what she told Dylan in season 2.
Exactly!! I never understood if they forgot what she told dylan in s2 or if she lied to dylan and told the truth to alex or vice versa🥴
I thought at some point they revealed she that was her form of denial.
People wonder why he killed chick he upset norma .....😭😭😭😭
And he said something that made Alex angry.

Mum
Idont like this I use to watch Norma and Norman not other characters
