An all-access look at the Wizards' 3-1 West Coast road trip, Deni Avdija opens up about his rookie season, and much more. Wizards ULTRA Access is presented by Michelob ULTRA.
"I'm not scared of anybody." I love his attitude and competitiveness. Westbrook is the perfect mentor for him. They never back down on anybody. Hopefully, we can see him play his game a lot on the second half of season.
The kid plays more minutes than James Weismann. Twice as many as the picks above him. 21 mpg is NOT "rotting in the bench". Specially for rookies who aren't physically accustomed to this many games, since no league in the world plays so much so often.
@@bluesrockfan36 Bro, first thing- not every game is like that. Check out some of the last ones.. less than 7 minutes on the game against Boston, 11 minutes against the Clippers... Secondly, he rarely gets the ball. I agree, that's partly on him, but how is he supposed to gain confidence as a rookie this way?
@@gogiya41195 Let me check... last game he played 26 minutes. Yes, he is going to have some games where he plays less time. Minutes are not guaranteed. If Garrison Matthews and Isaac Bonga are playing better lately... they'll get more playing time. Deni is not a superstar in the league that can play bad and still get 30 minutes. Deni gets the ball all the time, what are you talking about? He just plays hot potato with it and gets rid of it immediatly. That's on _him_ . Confidence comes with repetition and games played. Confidence comes with making shots and playing elite defense. That's why rookies aren't usually expected to do much of anything until their second year.
But he started really confident in his first game, and he played amazing when beal and russ weren't playing because they don't let him shine. He could have been much better if they let him fly. #let_deni_fly
Totally agree, the coach is not developing his skills and i think he doesn't play as food as he used to because of that. He is a treasure to every basketball team that would take advantage of his talent. #let_deni_fly
trade Beal cause you will just waste his remaining years and let go of russ cause you cant achieve anything with him its just russ achieving stats not the team winning... And build around Avdija and Hachimura and play the draft
@@ryderscores lol are you really watching basketball? Beal want out and the wizards had more loses than wins when russ is playing, he is just a stats chaser and you cant win with him Lol. and 2 forwards? you forget Avdija is 6'9? lol they can play both of them and they are both mobile forwards who can run
@@griffinpeters38 yha i know its hard but thats the nature of rebuilding, look at houston they are in the process of rebuilding rightnow but unlike washington we have Hachimura and Deni to start just look at Philly they get their draft picks and develop now they are a contender . Its hard to accept but rebuild is the only choice, you dnt want to waste beal's talent with a team who cant win and you cant rebuild a team with russ cause he is not a proven winner. We cant waste Deni who BTW a good play maker even tho they make him a catch and shoot guy and Rui has a great potential.
Deni is so likable
too bad his coach doesn’t like him smh
He is gonna be an all star
a STAR in the making.. #let_deni_fly

We need more Westbrook phantom highlights please wizards
i like how they always showing Deni just to not use him
Yeah, helping Deni fulfill his potential doesn't mean letting him rot on the bench bro

these videos on lit when we win or streaking lol. Aye yo play my mans Deni or trade him bruh foreal !!!
why is brooks still the coach?
I can think of 7 out of 10 reasons.
ruusel is a great role model for deni
From where deni’s shirt??? 3:56
fire Brooks and give Deni the role he needs to get
Trust and be patient bro..He needs to be developed. It's a long season in the NBA...Throwing him in the fire too early could hurt his confidence.

Sit the fuck down, grab a beer and watch the grame.
@@TheFiveTube so your telling me him taking 2 shots a game is good for his confidence ? Bro was made to be a star.
@@TheFiveTube and where you mean it’s a long season 🤣 brooks is ass and it’s that simple , theres no more then 35 games left in the season.

He said Russ about to get a quadruple double lmao, what game was that for? Was it a joke at his turnovers ?
Yea
8 TOs from Russ in that grame (Denver grame), so yeah. Amazing to see Russ laughing his face off at that joke. Even more proof he's a great teammate.
