- Along with the sliding glass door, transporting these windows and installing them has felt like a heavy weight on my shoulders. I've learned a lot in all the mistakes I've made with regards to all aspects of these windows, and in the end, I'm thankful for all of those mistakes cuz I've learned a lot!
Bruce was no longer able to help me (don't worry, if you are confused in these videos, so am I! haha). Really at this point Steve was my option, and if he can mountain bike, he can help me!!! (I really think he was looking for a way out of this whole thing. lol).
Anyway, glad to have his help! Thanks Steve!
One of the loves of my life steals the show at the end of the video 💝
Thanks for watching and see you in the next video!
M 💕
Steve has a great point. You really need to put a railing on that deck before you do anything else. Even if its just temporary while you work on the cabin. Accidents can happen.
I agree with Steve, you really should make getting the railing built a priority 😊
Just wonderful! Barking for the pure joy of being alive! Nice job on the windows too!
The windows look great. I agree with Steve your next project should a rail around the deck he’s right a fall from there will seriously hurt you if you fell. Be careful, be safe😊
It is not in any way a surprise that Steve is a "genius at ropework and knots". Good of you to acknowledge his skills.
your attention to Clyde just puts smile on my face.
So good to see Clyde doing what a hound dog does. The tail is wagging all of time. Nice that you have the cabin dried in now. Steve is right about the deck. Get that handrail built ! I feel like Jewish grandmother because I worry..
I will be a lot less nervous when the handrail, well even a temporary guard is put on that deck. I 'll still be nervous about you and steve going to get that boat though.
Oh wow! long hair ketchup lady!... good job u 2 on windows! safe passage on boat trip!...hope Steve's knees heal soon!.... LOLOL! DANG DOG!
Steve is a lucky man to have a strong woman who's not afraid to do things her self and smart enough to know when to ask for help. Cabin is turning out great and I love the new blonde hair.
Wondered if anyone else noticed the new hair shade... Took me a few secs to adjust...LOL Looks a bit like my daughter-in-law with the beautiful mix of grey involved... But your own beautiful grey eyes just complete the picture.
At 85, I consider it a blessing to recognize, and comment on beauty when I see it... Truck-on, my dear...-pp
Me too.
Sexy little vixen 😊
@@paulpetty3307yep- at the point in my life where I’m having to mix in the greys rather than try to fully cover them 🤷🏻♀️
@@michygoss7148just part of the deal, you look great. You guys are quite the pair 👍✌
Reminds me of breaking every single Health & Safety Rule in the Book, building my house on the side of a cliff when I was 29.
“What doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger”. x
Congratulations on getting the windows to their destination with Steve's help. You can now scratch that stress off the brain.
I’ve been a carpenter/finish carpenter 50 + yrs …your attitude is absolutely the best it reminds me of me. My slogan “ there is no stupid piece of wood that going to outsmarts me “ it works for me!
I built a house last year, and while my drop isn’t anything like yours, my upper deck overlooks a steep hill. I had them put up a temporary handrail and it stayed there for months. It may not be much, but it is a sense of security. Don’t work out there in the slick stuff without one. Michelle, you are so tough. I’ve never seen a woman want to tackle the things you do. Glad Steve is getting back at it too! God bless!
Blonde hilights in your hair is legit!!!! Another awesome video.
Super cool that your dad or grandfather is involved in your life. Not everyone is so lucky😎👍
Clyde is living his best life, because of you 2. The Cabin is look wonderful!
Clyde is a crack up, he's definitely in dog heaven in your neck of the woods!
The Sky Mule has definitely paid for itself. Oh and by the way, thank Steve for me. For telling you to get a rail up! God Bless Clyde, I love that mouth...💕and always cracks me up when out of the blue he see's you, and always looks so shocked that there you are, like where'd you come from...lol True Love💕
I've been concerned about, not having a safety railing, too. Just one little stumble. That was the best sky mule trip ever. They do make steps for other trucks. Best New Inventions for Pickup Trucks video. Clide was in his element enjoying the hunt. You have 109k boy friends.
The great Windows look awesome 😎 🎉 in there new home👍
Unbelievable job Michelle however again Clyde stole the show, work accomplished you feel good inside too.
Good lord, i was nervous for Steve helping lift and put the windows in. He's right. You've got to get a good solid railing around the deck. Thats a fatal fall if anyone ever does take that fall.
So cool seeing clyde in his element and howling like that. He's happy and can be.
Nice Steves knee is doing good.
Cant wait to see yall back on the new boat and heading home with it.
Exciting stuff 😊
Love that blonde hair it looks so good on you. I think it makes you look younger even though you are young.
Thanks Michele 👍
❤ Clyde, he really does love his job. 👍😉
I knew it was getting serious, when steve changed into his boots! Nice team work !
Steve is doing very well with his knee it looks like that's great I'm happy for him
I love them all, but Clyde is special . Look forward to your videos every week
Brought a tear to my eyes watching clyde live his best life in his senior years.
The windows look great! Whew, I’m exhausted just watching.
Steve is a true partner and Clyde can’t be beat!
great job on the windows, thank goodness you have steve. GO CLYDE GO.
Well.......your windows and cottage look pretty great.
Clyde is just doing his job he has done his whole life, love his hunting voice. look up to see if he has anything tree'd after all he is a hunting dog. Great job on the cabin!
He’s treed raccoons before - about 3-4 times that we’ve seen. So I do usually have a peek when I get him, but haven’t seen anything in a loooong time.
he is one happy dog! love the way you and Steve rescue those senior dogs! @@michygoss7148
Found myself holding my breath when those windows where on the sky mule. So happy for YOU 💛
Now that Steve has expressed a necessary handrail, I would now move a handrail next in line! He and most of us are worrying about you. Stay Safe and Hugs from Santa Barbara. 🤗😘😎🌹
Looks great! I have to say Steve makes a good point. Hand rails should go up soon. Your channel is awesome and that could be my dream home.
Thanks Steve for helping our pal. The windows look great. The cabin is just magical!
Vous êtes très adroite et très forte pour une femme, il est vrai que vous n'arrêter-pas et n'avez-pas besoin d'un banc de musculation . Vous êtes très créative, bravo Miss !
You are strong Michelle. It’s gonna be great with the window in the house. Great that Steve knee are better. You guys are great and strong 👍💪🏻❤️🙏👌💕
Major milestone on the cliff cabin. It's weathered in...mostly. Every time Clyde finally sees you he's like. "Hey, what are you doing out here?" Thanks for the episode.
@bobflores - Agreed. 👍
Thanks goodness Steve was able to assist, the two of you make a great team.
I realized after watching all of your videos that I’m in love with Steve !!!............KIDDING !!........I mean you !!❤️👍❤️👍
He’s a spectacular human! 😊
Congratulations on getting the windows down the cliff and getting them in place for now, thanks Steve for all your help and rigging! Clyde is such a precious old boy, when he noticed you he was sooo happy! Thanks for rescuing theses dogs and giving them the best life possible! ✌🏼❤️🙏🏼
Impressive rigging and knot work by Steve! I wish I had that skill.
I love that dog he's so happy with you girl .❤
I thought about a descriptive word or phrase beforehand and I decided on glorious. Now I can see what you saw from the beginning. I've always liked your imagination. Very nice Michelle ! And congratulations. And thank you Steve. And, yeah, a railing should be next.
Michelle, so glad to see those windows in place. Kudos to Steve. Thanks for Sharing!
Bonjour Steve et Michelle. what a loving family vidéo. Monsieur Steve is the man. he's resourceful and intelligent. i like his gentle side. he kindly brought it to your attention Michelle about the deck. please please tackle this issue before you leave. it may be fall, i don't want you to fall !!
He is an amazing man!
Love Steve’s sneaky smile. Gotta wonder what he is thinking.
He’s always thinking of something funny to say! 😁
When I first heard Clyde howling in the video I thought Steve had fallen and broke his leg, lol
I just love them old hounds, he caught a scent of something and was bawling track, basically telling whatever his quarry was that he was on its scent and was coming for it, then when you showed up it renewed his confidence and excitement that backup had arrived and you and he were gonna catch up and tree the quarry whatever it may have been, I do believe that Clyde was reliving his younger years as a bear or lion dog.
Cabin looks great can't wait to see the finished product.
Hello Michèle, it's the big day, the installation of these bay windows is an important step for the cabin. Well done to both of you, this project is well advanced now. Have a great time Michèle. See you soon ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💋
Every woman loves a compliment- i see alot in NYC but u look damn good in jeans! 👍
Nice job getting the windows in, Michy! well done to Steve too...
HIs howling bark has me laughing every time I hear it. Puts a smile on my face know he thinks he can talk just because he smelled something or found something. What a character
I know - it’s such a unique sound! I love it ❤
I think it is safe to say I love you guys! Wishing you the best always!
💚That's why I AM Grateful that I've learned to enjoy the moment. Thank You for sharing your journey with us ...
Oh, but they do look magnificent! The windows! Well done, there.
What a relief, it’s gorgeous out there. Steve is right about getting safety asap. Clyde is an original.
team work makes the dream work.. wonderful together work...
I had an Aha moment, when the commercial right after you and Steve got the windows in and braced was a spray foam commercial. Since the can spray foam expands and is easy to use, that might be a good way to seal the gaps and help to tighten the windows up in place along with the inside and outside trim, eh? I was thinking if you have time before Winter sets in, you could put the outside trim in place, then spray foam the gaps to the thickness of the window frame from the inside, cut any extra expanded spray foam flush with the window frame, then apply the inside trim. Steve looks like he's getting around pretty well, and I know you greatly appreciate his help with the windows. I had right knee surgery and two low back surgeries while in the Air Force, and had to take it easy right after the surgeries, but like anyone who's had surgeries that went well it just takes some time to let it heal and get stronger. Y'all be safe!
Moved right along with the windows! Love watching another animal lover!
Thanks for sharing my wife and I enjoyed the video. Clyde is adorable! Glad you and Steve got through the project with no mishaps! My wife is an RN and go getter! I plug along AS she inspires me to keep up! She has motivated me to battle stage 4 lymphoma….2 year’s remission now! 🎉 Again we gain “golden nuggets” from your videos that helps us with our cabin up north! 🇨🇦 🇺🇸
💝💝
Brought a tear to my eye. With what you said about Clyde. Have my own pups. That I can say the same for ❤
Those windows were the “Pièce de résistance” to the cabin build! Bravo !! Surprised Steve hasn’t figured out a way to come up with something to actually ride the sky mule like a little trolley! 😁 Fantastic job
It’s looking great! I love the teamwork and logistics it takes to get each step done. Thanks for sharing!
He is such a sweet boy! Glad you got the glass in ans off your mind.. :)
Enjoy the times even when stressing about work for they will become fond memories one day!
Well Michy the windows are in, Steve you know the phrase, happy wife happy life. I'm glad you helped her with those. Clyde is something else, what a ham. So you're off overseas, for some more maritime adventure. Have a good time and count your blessings amen.
Ps Michy you look radiant.
Soooo pleased that the windows made it down in one piece and fit (with some minor adjustments). Massive ‘big up’ to you Michelle and Steve; outstanding effort 😊👏👏👏
Oh my! Such a sight! Makes me wonder what the Sasquatches out there are thinking when they see a triangle piece of framed glass "floating" down the mountain side. Good job!
Please give Clyde a pat for me. Dogs are the original life enthusiasts.
I glad Steve was able to help you get the windows installed I know this has been on your mind for a while. Good to hear Clyde at work. Have a good week sul

Once again a most excellent video. The windows was very important, but our dogs are the most important. I loved how you described Clyde. It was beautiful and so are you .
Be safe
Clyde is doing what he does best !
That was interesting and good rigging to get the sky car to take the windows down !
Windows are in , I bet that feels good seeing them in place !
It’s coming along well it looks like !
You have the difficult tasks done before the snow hits your area !
Let steven get his boots on you guys are so fun to watch he loves you so much and yes its so high on this cliff wow .
Hi 👋, Michelle and Steve, Good to see Steve has recovered or mostly, you could sell your truck to Steve and the money you get from me, you can buy a new version and get stick shift, 😂 , Good to see you are both using the safety aspect of moving things around, or not. I did think when I heard the Glass go clank, with a piece of metal, I thought it was going to break, but you finally got down there safely, and the pains are in, that was a pain is taking job ha ha😂, good to hear the hound of the Baskervilles around, stay safe, both of you,.
Look forward to the next progress update , Phil from the moulin
foam and shims then trim to hide the errors. old saying the trim hides all the mistakes. Clyde is so much fun to watch.
That sky mule is the ticket suck an awesome idea !! You and Steve make a great team from what I’ve seen there isn’t much you too can’t do when your working together and great videos gives me something to watch every Sunday !
Much respect and excellent work. The windows look great. A great location with a million dollar view. 👏👏👏👏👏
The Windows look awesome. I love the team work. Dogs do what they do
Beautiful place! Love Clyde!!! he's a good ole boy
Well I see you did your hair different😊 and the windows look beautiful good job😊 and Clyde is having fun he just loves doing that he is so darn funny😂😂❤❤
What a relief it must be to finally have those windows in place. And what an amazing view...
what a big day, the windows look great!
I am on the edge of my seat watching those windows go down on the sky mule. I know you’ll have success to complete the project but I still find myself nervous. Hopefully Steve didn’t overdo it and his knee doesn’t give him problems in the days ahead.
The quickest 20 minutes on youtube! ❤❤
I absolutely love it when Clyde finally notices you, he loves you sooo much! I’m so glad he has you guys, it makes my heart smile!
Oh Clyde you Crack me up. I just love that good old boy
nice work Michelle, just shim the window., Clyde is a trip, he just loves to howl. I miss all the dogs I have ever had I am 69 years old
😊 this video truly brought a smile to my face 🐕🐕👍
Hahaha nooo! the shifter on the column is so classic and feels just right 😄
I’m used to a center console shifter from my Tacoma! 🤷🏻♀️
Great video Michelle, I too will miss Clyde when he is gone, as I will miss you when your video adventures come to an end. Have a great day.
Excellent video Michelle. You say you will miss those moments with Clyde and you will But when he's gone and you're down you have that moment to go back and make you happier than you were. Enjoy your dogs because they will always love you. Just came back from the dog beach...her happy, okay our happy place.
Congrats on those wonderful windows. People pay lots of money for barndominium windows like. They are hot on the market. As for old knees, I have that issue as well. I used to jog, but can't do that anymore, although I can still do the mountain bike. Jarring pressure caused by jogging is the issue. I have no problem with extended mountain bike rides. Steve looks like he's recuperating just fine.
Bravo, you did a brilliant and skilful job with the windows, there's no way I could have got them down in one piece! Best wishes to you both and hounds and please get that handrail up ❤
Good seeing you again! When Clyde howls he is warning you of potential predators or when they a visitor is approaching his territory. Keep up the good videos!
