    Each little detail makes it better each time. Keen to see how you'll tackle the canopy. However looking very impressive as it grows.
    Cheers, Rich.

    There is the makings of a very striking station canopy coming Richard even with only a few pillars currently standing. I look forward to seeing how you go about building the spans for the roof, a slightly bigger challenge ahead. Paul

    That's a serious project you're undertaking. I continue to watch with interest. :)
    It good to have someone else building a station at the same time as me.
    Hopefully we can bounce ideas off each other as things progress. Keep up the great work Richard.

    Pillars look great, can't wait to see the curved roof up ;) I'm still slowly finishing up my final set of platforms, and then the canopy is the next thing to be tackled. Iain

    Nice one! When I used to live in Newcastle, we did a photoshoot for our band in the station. Mega cheezy, but captured the columns nicely in the photos! Lol.

    I'd recommend some 'Purity Seal' (matte varnish) spray from Citadel. If you use it to cover your platforms, it'll remove that glossy sheen you get from the plastic. Naturally real platforms made of concrete aren't shiny. Other than that, top work so far. :)

    That’s going to be a cracking station.....just a thought try putting a bit of blu tack on the base of the columns and stick to bit of round card and spin them around as you spray or a rotating base ....hope you don’t mind me saying ....regards Fred

    Next time you spray white try using white primmer. Its easier to cover than grey.

    Love covered stations so many don’t do it as it hides the locos and then but a smaller canopy or open roof one that looks out of place thanks.

      This should hopefully work better as a scene break so in a way needs to be covered.

    Looking good mate 👍 I did have to chuckle when the spray can shot them everywhere! Did you key the primer up slightly before glossing them? Could that have been the problem?

    • @NewJunction
      @NewJunction  6 років тому

      Ditto but I had to leave it in haha. Primer wise it felt quite rough so I didn't key it further.
