44:13 CGB accidentally subtracts 1 from his life total while handling his cards, taking him from 14 to 13 life. 45:18 Blake threatens exactly 13 damage. 47:12 The mighty fall. RIP in peace CGB.
Ben reminds me so much of Uncle Iroh. He's relaxed, has an incredible laugh, and an absolutely infectious smile. Like Ben just looks like a guy you'd absolutely want to sit down and hang out with. Ben, also like Uncle Iroh, at the end of the day is still a freaking DRAGON. Mess with the dragon, die in flames. Amazing win, Ben.
All hail DragonLord Ben! Nice to see that timely Pact smother the smug face of “never didn’t have it”. Love this show guys! Thank you for being there every week to be the cherry on top!
Ben coming strong back into WPC and owns the show, indirectly defeating CGB and taking the aggro to Blake for the finisher! Completely unexpected and cool win, congrats, loved the episode
After watching an earlier episode of Worst Possible Commander, I decided to try out Warstorm Surge in a deck and I love it every time I get to cast it! Keep putting it in all your decks Ben, it’s now your calling card!
Omg i love that she had the bloodchief mindcrank combo. The first infinite combo i found out about on my own through deck building, it kind of has a special place in my heart.
Blake was an ANIMAL this game! I have really enjoyed seeing the power-level of a nicely tuned +1/+1 counter deck. And hearing the "GO FOR THE EYES, BOO!"-))) LOL
Truthfully, I was rooting for Ben the whole time!! Miirym was one of my favorite cards out of Baldurs Gate and I bought 4 boxes and only pulled a single copy!! As soon as I saw the card I wanted to build my own commander version and so in honor of Ben and his win, I must finish my own build and who knows, maybe warstorm surge may find it's way in! 😅 Great job, Ben!! Love the show! You guys are all awesome!
Wow Ben came out of nowhere with that Pact of Negation. Then surprise combo win against Blake!! Covert Go Gina was an awesome guest for a week, but glad to have you back! The silent killer!!
It is really amazing that for more than 90% of the game Ben went most of the game completely unnoticed while he was doing some set up and then it was a huge payoff to win. I am really amazed that the pay-off from those enchantments really took the game in that way.
Boy oh boy, Ben! That was SICK! Myrrim was a lot better than expected, and I love how you just slammed Dragon Tempest and everyone was just like “this is fine” that was great!
Congrats Ben! My husband made a Myyrim deck. It looked like it would be slow, but it devastated my sliver army lol. You winning plus CGB hamster to the face made this game amazing.
Holy crap! That was a crazy game! A complete beat down from every angle, robbery, treachery, friendship and violence. And in the end the mighty Dragons prevail and Ben did the thing! (and squashed a hamster)
Ben playing a counter spell to ensure CGB died was just astonishing. Then Ben goes for the win seemingly out of nowhere! One of the most explosive and best endings
Well, I can't say that I expected the dragonless dragon deck to win, but here we are! Very cool victory Ben, and great job making everyone underestimate you until it was TOO LATE!
Ben, congrats, you deserved the win, low key just biding your time as always, happy to see it pay off! I want to build a Miirym deck, seems like a cool commander!
Ben, the silent killer. This game is best commander game ever. So much fun epic stuff happened, and then Ben's pact of negation and combo kill. 💚 Thanks for amazing games
Welcome back Ben, comeback win. Reminds me of my strat. My scumbag strategy is moaning and being generally salty about my draws and how I have nothing to play and how I get my stuff countered and removed....up until they leave me alone and start going for each others throats. Then I try to win when they run out of juice like the trash I am. Well Ben did it minus the moaning.
BEN The Gnawer of Bones!!!. You have redeemed the dragon clans honor and have restored the balance of power and might. You bring great riches to our nation and our coffers spill with treasure!, Tiamat is proud to call you one of his own, The Ur- Dragon even spoke your name! Let's look to the sky and ROAR in celebration of the momentous occasion! RAWRRRRRRR!!!!
As a newer Magic player, I'm so excited to see an affordable/solid Dragon commander! It's fair/slower, yet super powerful when it goes off. Btw I've been watching a lot of your eps lately; love the combo of powerful cards and total jank in everyone's decks! 🤣 Super fun to watch (I'm a total budget player, so love seeing that balance)
Ben, that WAS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL, AND I MEAN B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L WIN! DRAGONS... BOOM! COPIES... BOOM! WARSTORM SURGE AND DRAGON TEMPEST... BOOOOOOOOOOOOM! There will NEVER... EVER... be a better way to win any game... period. *chef's kiss* I am screaming. Nothing can ever top this. Nothing. I can die happy having witnessed this.
Never underestimate the Dragons! Also two things: I love how Blake's version of a Timmy deck is to not go for dragons or large monstrous beasts or giants or whatever. No, he goes for Hamsters. I also find it amusing that CGB consistently shows up with four different commander decks to play each game, three of which were built by his friends under the false impression that they were made to be played by them.
Sometimes being the underdog isn't to bad, as people feel bad focusing you (Blake swinging only 2 damage at Ben when he had a lot more potential damage "because he isn't doing anything"). That is why I love decks that fly under the radar setting up for a big turn!
Mirrym is such a great versatile timmy commander. It lets you sprinkle in some counter magic to protect yourself without feeling like you are losing focus on your strategy the way that it would if you were playing Ur-Dragon.
Praise Ben! His faith in Warstorm surge/dragon tempest was rewarded. Awesome game as always, everyone!!!! I just finished assembling a Mirrym deck, so we'll see if I too can pull a win against my group.
The war between hamster and dragon is as old as time. But in the end, only one remained. The champions were already working on the mural as the dust was settling.
Stayed till the end even through commercial for more support and AWESOME game can't wait for next game and please never forget everyone you're cool 😎🤟🏽
VINDICATION FOR BEN! All these weeks of counter spells and CGB stealing cards from his deck, that pact of negation was epic! Nice win Ben! I’m always rooting for you!
Ben: Borrows CGB’s dragon for his dragon deck. Also Ben: Casts Pact of Negation on CGB’s last ditch attempt to avoid a lethal flying hamster. All in all, glorious af!!!
I play the same combo that BEN used but on my The Ur-Dragon deck. is awesome, i want to try this deck now, good job not being the threat at the start xD
As a Miirym player, my advice to Ben is : play more dragons ! since it's a tribal deck, you probably want to aim at 24-25 dragon creatures, so you really can benefit from your commander's effect every turn. Also, Shared animosity isn't that great of a card in a dragons deck, since it takes time before you can really go wide. I'd rather replace it with a cheap dragon (Swashbucker Extraordinaire for example, great card).
Slight rules clarification, Miirym is on ETB, not cast. It's even better than displayed here. Great piloting from the dragon deck, I love when the midrange value deck just has one huge turn and destroys everything.
Ben: “ive only got like 15 dragons in this deck” Everyone else: that’s not enough (Ben then goes on to win the game with a total of 3 non token dragons on the field) 😂
Absolutely loved the amount of interaction in this game! Throwing counterspells around with lethal on the stack will never not be amazing to watch :)
44:13 CGB accidentally subtracts 1 from his life total while handling his cards, taking him from 14 to 13 life. 45:18 Blake threatens exactly 13 damage. 47:12 The mighty fall. RIP in peace CGB.
First time mana crypt did 1 damage to a player.
Dude thats so tragic
hahaha spoiler alert:)!
That’s so tragic he was actually supposed to survive that with 1 life lol 😂
rip in peace... rest in peace in peace. cgb deserves all of the peace
27:45 misplay: CGB could not have searched with Kodama's Reach with Ashiok still out.
Thanks.
32:30 Blake, you are such a good sport. To put a positive spin on getting double teamed by the two "nope" mages was classy.
"Go for the eyes Boo!"
Moment of the game, right there.
The Pact of Negation ensuring Boo would actually REACH the eyes was the play of the game.
I liked how Shea instinctively looked at CGB, even though CGB was already dead after casting her spell to see if CGB was going to counter it. 🤣🤣
Glad to that Ben showcased the fact that just because your down doesn't mean your out. Loved his deck design. Might have to try and build it myself!
Ben is the GOAT and deserves to be the overall MVP. He deserves to sit on the throne for next weeks video.
love how there's spells, counter spells, and fighting going on for most of it and Ben is like "I play a land"
All hail DragonLord Ben! Nice to see that timely Pact smother the smug face of “never didn’t have it”. Love this show guys! Thank you for being there every week to be the cherry on top!
Shout out to Ben! You had the 2 most epic plays of the game taking out both CGB and Blake! Pact of negation and 4/3 non flying dragon FTW!
All I have to say is welcome back Ben and congrats on one of the most insane comeback I seen in a long while is glad you are feeling better too 😄🤟🏽❤️
Ben’s power level is so high, he gives the others a chance to have fun before releasing the dragons.

Ben Loved the deck.
Now that's what I call snatching victory from the jaws of defeat! Amazing final plays in this game, you are all legends in my book :)
Horror pirate.. that sounds like a master plan
Best card ever printed
Truthfully, I was rooting for Ben the whole time!! Miirym was one of my favorite cards out of Baldurs Gate and I bought 4 boxes and only pulled a single copy!! As soon as I saw the card I wanted to build my own commander version and so in honor of Ben and his win, I must finish my own build and who knows, maybe warstorm surge may find it's way in! 😅
Great job, Ben!! Love the show! You guys are all awesome!
That sucks. I only bought three packs and got a regular and foil copy. Lucked out.
Ben, thank you for bringing the might of temur to the table. I am trying to make a miirym deck and im so excited to play it! Great video!

Ben playing a counter spell to ensure CGB died was just astonishing. Then Ben goes for the win seemingly out of nowhere! One of the most explosive and best endings
I pulled Miirym in my prerelease draft; I'm very glad to see it do better here. Way to go on the win, Ben!
Well, I can't say that I expected the dragonless dragon deck to win, but here we are! Very cool victory Ben, and great job making everyone underestimate you until it was TOO LATE!
When Ben says about Blake; "Well he actually needs to be nice in the first place" 🤣 congratz on the sick and timely win!! 🤜🤛
These vids are just so much fun to watch, even better when I catch them live. So thanks a lot you lot!
Glad to see Ben has returned! Also some amazing Ben faces - asking Shea about her win-con then that Pact! Ben is the true blue mage!
Ben, congrats, you deserved the win, low key just biding your time as always, happy to see it pay off! I want to build a Miirym deck, seems like a cool commander!
Blake says “Peace in our time.” Ben replied “Peace among worlds.”
great game! y'all did a good job... whoop whoop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love these commander games! Love the dynamic!
I really enjoy each of these commanders. Lots of options for each of them to keep the games interesting! Shown quite well in this game for sure
For a deck with no dragons you sure beat Blake with a lot of dragons, great win Ben! And great game all, love this show.
Great game and what a finish. Thanx for sharing and congratz Ben
Ben, the silent killer.
This game is best commander game ever. So much fun epic stuff happened, and then Ben's pact of negation and combo kill. 💚
Thanks for amazing games
Dragons circling above the mortals and then swooping in at the last moment to clench the victory. Great job Ben.
this was really fun to watch! so awesome to see ben pop off with his beeg creatures >:)
The table: Where are all your Dragons Ben?
Ben: I only need three.
I love how everybody just dissed Ben's deck building the whole game and then he proceeded to win the game out of nowhere. Good job Ben!
Glad to see Ben back! Awesome win
I can't believe the X Bros did it to CGB like that. That had me rolling 😂😂
BEN The Gnawer of Bones!!!. You have redeemed the dragon clans honor and have restored the balance of power and might. You bring great riches to our nation and our coffers spill with treasure!, Tiamat is proud to call you one of his own, The Ur- Dragon even spoke your name! Ben was a sleeper this game, never underestimate the man! Ggs
Bow the superior Combo color Temur.
Well played Ben, once again: patience is a wincon.
Ben, that WAS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL, AND I MEAN B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L WIN! DRAGONS... BOOM! COPIES... BOOM! WARSTORM SURGE AND DRAGON TEMPEST... BOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

Gonna add "Imma do some math in this game" to the list of memorable Ben quotes right up there next to "The science checks out."
You guys are great. Love to see all your games. Continue with the great job ^_^
Sometimes being the underdog isn't to bad, as people feel bad focusing you (Blake swinging only 2 damage at Ben when he had a lot more potential damage "because he isn't doing anything"). That is why I love decks that fly under the radar setting up for a big turn!
57:54 - really Blake... Quite the overshare.
Ben, as a fellow math nerd (bachelor's in mathematics and comp sci) I feel the struggle with arithmetic.
Congratulations Ben!!! Fun video.
I love that Damnation playmat. So cool
Loved the whole game! Epic! Go Ben!
Great game guys. That win came totally out of left field.
The war between hamster and dragon is as old as time. But in the end, only one remained. The champions were already working on the mural as the dust was settling.
As a Chatterfang stan, it was a joy to watch the intense showdown between long-running rivals: hamsters vs. dragons
Stayed till the end even through commercial for more support and AWESOME game can't wait for next game and please never forget everyone you're cool 😎🤟🏽
Misc! Excited for that deck!
Ben's deck shows us that dragons are so powerful that you don't really need many to win, awesome.
I would love to see decks that have underperformed come back for redemption.
The 3/2 changeling token is in the party time precon where black market connections come from.
VINDICATION FOR BEN! All these weeks of counter spells and CGB stealing cards from his deck, that pact of negation was epic! Nice win Ben! I’m always rooting for you!
LET'S GOOOOO!!! Ben came back and he came back swinging!🐉
Ben: Borrows CGB’s dragon for his dragon deck. Also Ben: Casts Pact of Negation on CGB’s last ditch attempt to avoid a lethal flying hamster. All in all, glorious af!!!
I love it. CGB makes fun of his dragon deck for not having enough dragons and in response gets pact of negation for the kill :) GG well played!
Pls do more of this Format!
nice match. Loved watching the video. On to the next :)
Another vid! I’ve been waiting! 🥰
I play the same combo that BEN used but on my The Ur-Dragon deck. is awesome, i want to try this deck now, good job not being the threat at the start xD
Ben should call that deck “Enter the Dragon “ and dress like Bruce Lee when he plays it
As a Miirym player, my advice to Ben is : play more dragons ! since it's a tribal deck, you probably want to aim at 24-25 dragon creatures, so you really can benefit from your commander's effect every turn.
Also, Shared animosity isn't that great of a card in a dragons deck, since it takes time before you can really go wide. I'd rather replace it with a cheap dragon (Swashbucker Extraordinaire for example, great card).
Shea: "you got a little Blasphemous Act coming?"
Blake: "I will spend three mana for a Blasphemous Act"
Missed the Black Market Connections trigger when played. It’s not a may trigger. Didn’t mention he was playing it second main. It happens.
Ben is back and better than ever! Such a fun game!
The reign of Ben begins!
"People laughed at my hamsters--once." Blake, Tiltmage Adept
Love the Ben win from out of nowhere with war storm surge. Haha
Grats Ben! Never didn’t have it!
Ben went from thinking of helping Shea with his pact to killing CGB. Top anime betrayals right there.
Ben must of took last week off to train to get this win.
The fanbase goes wild "Ben! Ben! Ben!"
ben's training arc last week paid off
This was one of the most fun games so far. I kinda felt sorry for Ben the entire time and then he just up and killed both CGB and Blake
Slight rules clarification, Miirym is on ETB, not cast. It's even better than displayed here. Great piloting from the dragon deck, I love when the midrange value deck just has one huge turn and destroys everything.
the ending to this episode got me hyped, wasn't ready for the dragon vs hamster face of that was fore shadowed all episode ben is the dark horse
I stepped away from your channel when I lost interest in Standard. However, the commander gameplay has me back!
I love laying low in edh and then killing the last person because everyone underestimated u as a threat :D
Ben: “ive only got like 15 dragons in this deck”
Everyone else: that’s not enough
(Ben then goes on to win the game with a total of 3 non token dragons on the field) 😂
Ben chose your comment as the winner! Email covertgogina@gmail.com for your code for Coolstuffinc.com.
@@covertgoblue Awesome! Thank you CGB and thank you Ben!
Ben played a CGB-style dragon tribal. Only 4 dragons, and a bunch of synergy.
The irony of going to CGB channel with a tribal deck with counters and casting almost no creatures of the tribe
Ben’s ultimate strategy it’s to let you dings kill each other while he hits the last person. Goateed.
