- These are some hot new fins from Cressi. The Cressi Gara Modular Impulse are great new plastic blades for spearfishing Kona. They would work well as freediving blades as well. They have a removable footpocket, soft blades, water rail, and come in 2 colors black and blue. These are some of the coolest plastic fins on the market and are definitely worth a try. If you're looking for freediving gear to help with your Kona spearfishing adventures look no further!

Sweet video man, thinking about getting this so I can upgrade to carbon. what’s the name of the carbon blade? Just cressi modular impulse carbon? Also is the Carbon blade also a soft blade?
If you're looking for good foot pockets to upgrade later we like the SEAC Motus ones the best. But like with all foot pockets you should try them on in a store before purchasing. The Gara pockets run wide. We do not carry or recommend the Cressi carbons. They are poorly made. We prefer leader fin (good value) or Alchemy (high quality). See the videos we made on these blades.
@@konafreediversreviews1175 just got the seac motus, tried in the store with one foot…it felt great. Now The other foot is too tight, might to try to reduce my sock thickness but it’s super frustrating
how many centimetre total lenght of this gara module impulse fins (40-41)?
Size 42-43 are 91 cm long
How does this fin compare to Gaara Modular LD Green
Same exact footpocket but the blade has a better bend profile and includes water rails on the sides. We much prefer this fin.
What’s the price range on the fiberglass and carbon blade fins that you guys carry?
Aloha Alae 🤙 The blades run between $135 - $449 and the footpockets are from $82 up to $139 for a pair. The fiberglass are a better bang for the buck but the carbons do have a 5 year wwarranty and are incredibly tough
@@konafreediversreviews1175 awesome. Thanks
I just purchase cressi gara impulse carbon.. seems so soft.. I have many kicks than my previous deep apnea fiberglass fins..
The deep apnea's are quite stiff in our opinion. The gara's are plastic so they are not really comparable. The gara's are not very stiff for plastics but not soft either. How much do yu weigh Josvic?
Yeeee majah
There's more to come!
I can't afford a super fin like that so I have decided to make my own.
Really? Can you share pictures? How will you make them? These are entry level fins for freediving.
Which one is more powerful between impulse and 3000?
Well. the 3000 is much much stiffer so you will need to kick much harder with it. You will get more propulsion from the 3000 but the impulse will be more efficient. That being said the footpocket should fit or it means nothing.
We will probably stop carrying the 3000 because it is an awful fin for most people
@@konafreediversreviews1175 thank you for the information
@@konafreediversreviews1175 THIS IS INFORMATION I WANTED. I DIDN'T KNOW THAT THE MODULAR GARA WAS SOFTER THAN GARA 3000 ld!
@@konafreediversreviews1175 BUT IS CRESSI GARA 3000 LD NOT THE MOST SOFT OF THE TWO, COMPARED TO THE COMMON MODULAR GARA?
Quiero comprar estas aletas calzo 42 y utilizo escarpines de 3mm, qué numeración debería comprar en estas aletas ?
What is the difference between Turbo and Non-Turbo versions?
The Turbo model uses the new footpockets which have shorter tendons. We only use/carry the short tendon pockets in the shop now and use them on many of our fin builds. This is the newest trend in freediving fins.
@@konafreediversreviews1175 Thank you! I actually ended up buying SEAC BM-30 fins after trying on different fins. SEAC BM-30's pocket fits my feet the best.
I m have one good fins
Yeah buddy!
YOU KNOW IF THE CRESSI MODEULAR , OR OTHER MODULAR MODELS, DISASSEMBLES AND RELEASES THE FLAT IF I STEP ON THE FLOOR AND FOLD THE FLAT TOO MUCH, OR HIT THE FLAT ON THE STONES OF THE SEA ALSO LOOSE THE FLAT OF THE FOOTWEAR, OR LOSE THE TIP OF THE FOOTBALL. DOES PALA IN THE STONES TO TAKE WITH IMPULSE GIVE PROBLEMS INSIDE THE WATER? IS RECOMENDED CRESSI GARA3000 LD?
Aloha Leonardo,
We will have to do another video on properly fitting freediving fins!
Hello which you're opinion modular or turbo?
The difference is the footpockets. The turbo's are shorter. We prefer them when upgrading the blades to carbons. They will also give the plastic blades more ability to flex making them softer which is good. Our favorite footpockets are on the modular sprint fins which have shorter blades than the other two.
thank you for introduction!
You are welcome Taka! What kind of fins do you like?
@@konafreediversreviews1175
I like full foot long fin!
