  • This video gives all the widely used Morse code characters in visual and audio formats so you can hear and understand what they are. The Morse code alphabet, numbers, punctuation and procedural characters are all provided along with an explanation of the spacing between the elements in a character, between characters in a words and between words.
The video is aimed at providing a video equivalent of the cards or tables showing all the Morse code characters: alphabet or letters, numbers, and other characters needed to send and receive Morse code.
The video starts by outlining the lengths of dots and dashes and then proceeds to give the spacing between elements in a letter, spacing between letters in a word and then between words. Having the correct lengths for each is necessary to ensure than any Morse code that is sent is easy to read and decipher,
The video then proceeds to give the Morse code alphabet, sounding out each letter in turn and giving a visual indication for the make-up or each letter.
The same is repeated for the numbers, common punctuation, and procedural characters. The procedural characters like K, KN, CT, AR, and VA are used to enable the receiving station to know what is expected or what will happen.
