Hiyolo Swagionji Maybe it wasn't that big in the U.S. In Australia, I saw this game everywhere in many arcades back in the 90's and it's been released on the PS1, Saturn, PS2, PSP and PS3. It's a crime that not many people seem to know this game. This is one of the best fighting franchises of all time! It was always refreshing to play a fighter that wasn't full of martial arts experts, but more of a cartoon/fantasy theme with mythical creatures.
BB hood forgot to use "cool hunting" that could have been the total difference or make the combo "beautiful memory" and immediately after the opponent is landing from the throw into the pool of tears in that very moment is very vulnerable as falling from sky and receive him with "cool hunting" while still in the air*

Played it for the first time when Resurrection came out. I like the game a lot, but much like MvC2, it seems the only ones playing are the ones that have been for 10+ years. I'm no good, but if you're on xbox, hit me up. I'm determined to get good with Lei Lei lol razberyclownsac
I honestly don't remember it in arcades where I was. I was in small towns and remember SF, MK, Afterburner, and all the beat em ups. I guess it wasn't very popular where I was. I played SF, MK, and MvC, but only casually. My brothers and I weren't hardcore into fighters, and I got more into them in the past 6 or 7 years. I completely missed 3S as well. Didn't play it until OE came out. It's too bad too because I really like these games and am sorry I missed them in their hay day.

I think when this game was out it was after MK and SF had died down so fighters (particularly 2D) were becoming scarce. That probably explains when you didn't see it. You're right, they're fun as hell. I, pretty sure I saw Morrigan (MvC) well before knowing anything about DS. I loved her in that game, but didn't know what she was from. I found out about DS much later. Better late than never though, right? I'm glad I did finally get to give it a go though. I love Hsien Ko, even though I'm terrible and out of practice now.
