Dylan so glad you've told us a little about yourself.. I saw some of your earlier years vids and lost touch.. I always wondered about where you grew up and how you developed such amazing talent!! You will continue to make inroads to success my friend!! Best of luck!!
This guy is good enough to be with a major jazz band or some other big bucks pro touring gig. But I get the feeling he likes things just they way they are - he's probably pulling in a comfortable living, and he can still just hang out and be fairly laid back. Smart guy. Lucky guy, too- he's in the motor genius arena of super drummers in the Buddy Rich league.
I know it's 4 years later but this guy is beyond any band. Any playing to a band's music is beneath him. It's too slow. Too simple. He's the greatest drummer that's ever lived and he should be worth over a 100 million dollars by now. Greatest percussionist ever. Drumming in a band would be like Alfred Einstein sitting around with high school teachers. I hope he finds a way to at least never ever have to worry about money.
For someone who has seen John Bonham, Roger Taylor, Billy Cobham, Ian Paice, Clive Bunker, Carl Palmer, Danny Seraphine and many more, I can safely say that you are MORE entertaining than ALL of them! What a talent you have! Absolutely thrilling to watch your performances. A big hello from London and may you be happy, healthy and wealthy.
This is for Dylan, Hey bro I listened to you tear it up on the 7's back when I was going through a real tough time. Weird I'm doin' better and wanted to feel good and decided to look you up. It appears to me that you are a very genuine dude, and if you ever need a hand with anything lemme know. live, love ckr
Like the traditional grip. Also like that you started with reading and then moved to jamming. Like learning to talk, it's hard to develop if you don't at first develop a vocabulary and acquire the foundations of grammar. It's the same with music. Great drumming! I'm sure you'll keep being successful in funk/fusion/jazz
As if his amazing talent as a drummer isn't enough, to find he is a solid and humble individual makes one hope he gets the recognition he deserves.
