I've been learning ruqiyah and practicing it for more than 10 years. At first, I approached it as a skeptical person on the subject; I wanted to prove that the unseen world of the jinn is just a myth. To my surprise, many supernatural experiences occurred in that learning journey, I can't explain them just only using modern science (and mind you; I'm very critical, logical, and skeptical about it). Those experiences strengthen my imaan - Alhamdulillah - and a very powerful reminder for me not to be an arrogant being, there are so much more things that are outside of my knowledge. Salam...

But addressing the point of whether jinn posses people we know some do. Some jinns are Muslims and some are not Muslims. The Muslim jinn do what human Muslims do. They call the non Muslims to Islam. They fight the oppressors and defend us too. They’re our brothers in Islam. But the evil ones cause humans harm which can be in various forms including possession, but they are weak and powerless against the strong believer who constantly remembers Allah and does the appropriate athkar. There was a time where some person I know was possessed, he experienced many problems in life and started to have difficulties praying and all. Then he decided to go and do ruqiya, when quran was read apon him he went berserk and many men couldn't hold him down even though he is rather skinny clearly non human strength. Things in the room started moving, we heard sounds that could not be described around us 😱. Sooner or later he was ok, he was possessed through black magic and it was rather powerful. That's why we should read quran daily and ask Allah for protection .You should react to ben halima abdoraouf he does ruqiya and the amount of jinns that become muslim is unbelievable.

15 yrs ago my wife was possessed by jinn thru black magic. Maybe someone was not happy with her. For about 2 yrs she neglected to do house chores such as preparing meals, do laundry etc. At night she felt something moving in her tummy. She didn't want to see anyone even her best friends. I sent her for medical checkup but doctors found nothing wrong with her. Then we went to mecca for a hajj. Thanks to Allah she suddenly fully recovered when we were in mecca. She felt as if she had just awaken from a deep sleep and felt fresh and light. All her depression suddenly disappeared. I think the reason she suddenly recovered because mecca is an area where non-muslims (men, jinns) are not allowed to enter. This forbiden area might be guarded by muslim jinns or angels. On seeing non-muslim jinns they might had captured them. Hence, my wife sudden recover.
There is a story I read from a muslim magazine. There was a filipino maid working for an arab family. She pretended to be a muslim so that she could work for the family. One day somehow the family intended to travel to the forbiden area somewhere near mecca. The maid and the kids were sitting at back while the arab who drove the car and his wife sat in front. On entering mecca suddenly the kids screamed because the maid suddenly disappeared. No way the maid fell off the car because all the doors were locked. Furthemore she sat in the middle where on her left and right sat the kids. The arab reported to the police. They searched along the road but she was nowhere to be found.
They finally reported to the filipino embasy and finally found out that the maid was a christian. Maybe the angels guarded the area and made sure non-muslims are not allowed to enter.

I have done ruqya on my husband before. It happened unexpectedly. I was already aware that he had afflictions he told me and others had witnessed it in the past. I could see when the shayateen would control him in little things when we would have arguments, his paranoia, his bad dreams of me. His health, strange health issues. I even felt things under the skin surface moving around his body before when I would recite while holding that area. One night he got extremely emotional after an argument and in that state the jinn who posessed him became more powerful over him, they surfaced. He dropped unconscious. And here was me who has never dealt with them before but I couldn't run away I decided to face them and do ruqya (recite Qur'an) I sat next to him with one hand on his head and the other holding his arm and recited, multiple jinn surfaced one after the other. When I would recite they would feel pain, I spoke to them and took alot of information out of them through this. Despite the hesitancy they had as they were sent by magicians who would punish them for revealing things. I found out the tasks they were sent with. Some were there to make him leave Islam and go back to christianity and then to commit suicide, they said hes too pious they've been trying for a long time messing with his mind. And he had told me he got random suicidal thoughts before. Others were there to ruin his wealth, this one actually left and we saw a difference in financial stability. And less random fines, his fines were abnormal, dumbest things every single week. He got fined for throwing a receipt into the wrong bin or some shiz once :/ turns out it was the delivery driver not him but ygm. I haven't seen anyone get fined so easily so much before. That changed after this night. Anyways others were there to ruin his relationships with people. One was there in his back to ruin his health he used to have a very sensitive back, and random back pain and stomach pain. Some of these jinn even told me they've been trying to seperate me and him and it's become an obstacle in their tasks and I irritate them. One said they were so close and he goes why won't he leave you. We always complete our tasks. I told him he won't be able to this time. 5 yrs later we're still together alhamdulillah, they've become weaker and his overall state is so much better I don't feel them no more as I did before. There was one female lover jinn in him too. I knew about her she would come in his dreams, she told me she doesn't like me and wants me gone. One of them listed out everything he does - cause murder - seperate man and wife - cause men to fight their brothers over war booty - cause man to break his oath and there was one other I dont remember. One said he was sent from a powerful magician in a country in africa to make him leave the religion and make him kill himself. That is the country one side of his family is from and they have had family clashes and they're involved in magic. I tried to find out who sent him, he didn't want to tell me but when I recited it would burn him so he described the appearance of this man but was too scared to reveal his identity. Another popped up before I could get that out of him. Anyways he had about 13 or 14 jinn in him. I had conversations about religion with some of them. 3 of them accepted Islam and left, apparently were killed for it right after. One got taken and locked up when he began showing interest. There were Jewish jinn in him, Christians, worshippers of iblis, 1 athiest, and 1 Hindu jinn in him. When each one would surface it would have its own tone of voice, his voice wouldn't entirely change but the tone and accent would aswell as language sometimes. And the body language. They were all located in different parts of his body. Most left through the hand. Some were male some were female. After all the chaos, a stronger jinn came through him. 44th generation from Iblis (Lucifer) he called himself a prince and he was placed in charge of all the jinn that were in him and when he was informed about what had happened he came through raging. His body language was quite different. The only one who actually stood up. Apparently there were jinn around us in the room pledging alliegence to him when he came through. He looked gassed. But even he was weak to the words of Allah. Couldn't harm me at all in any way. I couldn't see obviously anything in the room but he did get really angry at one point, started saying stop, when I asked what happened he said there is a group who have come shouting laa ilaaha ilallah. He was looking to his side and talking to those working for him he told them to capture all of them. But he hesitated at first as he said their leader is of his kin. Its crazy the things that go on around us in their world that we don't see. Anyways this one was full of pride he boasted and boasted and stood up with his arms out said he is a Prince and his status will go even higher the more he obeys his master iblis and he had an evil laugh. There was no conversing with him, he showed interest for just one short moment in the religion I was hopeful but he went back, too blinded by his evil he even said I've been killing and drinking blood for thousands of years. Apparently ppl would make sacrifices to him too. But yeah I was a simple 20 yr old girl, never done ruqya before, never encountered jinn like this before, but Allahs words are powerful, I knew my surahs, I knew my facts. Wasn't scared of all that. They sense fear and all other negative feelings. Honestly I read just the basic surahs, that day I saw directly the power they held. These jinn sat sensibly, didn't lift a finger, and they were suffering, controlled by surahs even little kids know off by heart. Only 1 stood up, even he couldn't harm me. One of the female magician jinns kept surfacing trying to do some magic and make charms for the rest, she'd do a weird ball thing with his hands I'd recite ayatul kursi and blow it in there and it would break her spell. One of the Jewish jinn in him began reciting some Hebrew magic, again I recited simple things over him, he stopped and told me my magic is too strong. That's the qur'an for you, so powerful. These jinn were being taught kabaala magic apparently while in him by a female jinn from Egypt called zuleikha. A random jinn popped up randomly he said he was in a rush he said salamualaikum sister and said I want to become a muslim, hurry as they're gonna come after me. He recited his shahadah, and he said he could see a bright light. He praised Allah and then he left. I even got informed that there had been one female Christian jinn following me around watching me. Apparently she'd become fond of me and when I asked if she wanted to become Muslim I was told she did. But the jinn was threatening her not to. I read the shahadah out loud, apparently she read after me, the jinn in my husband was getting angrier and angrier until he said my soldier killed her she's dead now. So much more happened but this comment's already become so long. My husbands friends years before that had seen one of the jinn surface, a few of them had to hold him back as his strength had increased, and he was speaking a foreign language apparently what sounded like Hebrew. I do believe jinn can possess human beings, and they go to different parts of the body, and they are able to sometimes surface and take control of the body and tongue. This ruqya lasted for about 3 hours until he came back to consciousness, he said he was unconscious, but sometimes he would be conscious and he felt like he was in his stomach and something else was in control and he could hear when I'd say his name. He was creeped out. I recorded parts of this. And I'm glad. Can't be called mad or a liar or be convinced that I am. But he isn't comfortable with me showing it to anyone, which is understandable. Anyways moral is to always keep in mind that this creation exists, they see us, we do not see them, they have their own lives, there are good and bad, and there are among them the devils who work for iblis and ones who are forced to do tasks for him too. So protect yourself. Keep away from corruption, read the Qur'an, blow it over yourself, read it in water spray it around your house, keep your homes protected, ask Allah to protect you and stay disciplined, pray do everything ur meant to and try to keep a clean heart cuz it makes a difference. Be conscious of urself always, self awareness, they hate that. Stick firmly to your principles, even in the smallest things, and try to be peaceful from within. Anyone who read all this I applaud you 😂 it's alot. I'm not expecting many people to.

Jinn possession is real. I can tell you because I'm afflicted by it for close to 4 years now. Perhaps I am afflicted by sihr too. I'm a Muslim male in my 30s from Asia and for the past 4 years I have been hearing 3 voices inside my head. I can tell that they're jinns, because I can physically hear them as though they're external but they're actually inside me. Whenever I walk across a machine or be surrounded by an electronic device with lots of white noise (like vacuums, hair dryer, air con, huge machines for example), I can hear their voices really clearly. Sometimes I hear voices of people that I know and met before, but I know they're not real and that these jinns have some sort of abilities that they're able to manipulate the voices or noises that you hear into voices, trying to cause fitnah between family members and loved ones or friends. These voices would come strong from Maghrib onwards till Fajr and after Fajr it would still be there but lesser. It is as though that it's the time when these creatures (jinns) are asleep.
In a western perspective they would diagnose me as suffering from schizophrenia. But I've not seen the medical doctor for this till now because I believe Allah is the one who cures me. But it also takes a high level of iman to accept this test which Allah has decreed for me, perhaps maybe through this struggle, it would create the perfect opportunity for me to get closer to Allah.
I've also been struggling with sleep, and sometimes at random moments of the day or night I can feel these creatures crawling under my skin/flesh. When I'm about to fall asleep, sometimes most nights can be really tough, as the moment I'm falling into sleep, my body would start to jerk or spasm and then I would be awake again and my heart starts to have palpitations. And then repeat. Now, every time this happens, I would seek refuge with Allah by getting up, make wudhu, and pray Tahajjud and I can tell you, it really helps. Some nights are really a struggle, and only Allah knows best.
I pray 5 times a day, and Alhamdulillah by His Mercy, I've learnt how to manage and deal with this properly. For the past years since my affliction I've learnt a lot from it and learnt how to manage it through Ruqyah and by getting closer to Him. My family and I have met few really sincere local sheikhs who have helped us to do ruqyah. We also met few wrong people in the beginning who only seek to help but for their income, to each their own and my advice is to ask around and meet really sincere people who can help you to deal with this and be cautious with who you meet. Stay away from those who purely seek for money or those that ask you do things that are out of Islam (such as when they ask for your mother's names).
Although, the best ruqyah is the ruqyah you do on yourself and I strongly believe in this.
Today, I'm still afflicted by it. I have to say, that having a positive mindset and perspective can really help. I accept this test which Allah has decreed for me, and my heart and prayers goes out to my brothers and sisters in Islam who are suffering from it. I accept that I might remain like this for life, but I also believe that one day I will also be cured.
As Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) have said, “The world is a prison for the believer and a paradise for the unbeliever.” [Source: Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2956].
And Allah test those whom He loves. Also it's important to remember that being tested or afflicted by sihr or jinn possession does not mean you have a low iman. Our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was also afflicted by sihr.
My tips I can think of at the top of my head:
    1) Never miss your morning and night adzkar (dhikr)
    2) Follow the sunnahs of Prophet Muhammad SAW: Including things from eating 7 Ajwa dates every morning, black seed oil etc. Zamzam water is also good and it burns the jinns/shaitan.
    3) Do your Fard and Wajib prayers daily, increase your Sunnah, And Nafl prayers as well.
    4) Do a lot of good deeds (charity etc)
    5) Make lots of dua and put your trust in Allah.
    6) Recite Al-Baqarah regularly. Listening to ruqyah audio doesn't work on them or on me at least, it needs to be recited. These creatures fear Surah Al-Baqarah the most.
    7) 3 x Ayatul Kursi, 3 x Surah-Ikhlas, 3 x Surah-Al Falaq, 3 x Surah An-Nas, blow it onto your hands before sleep and/or or blow it onto water and drink it every day, with the intention to seek Allah's permission and help to expel these jinns out from your body and to protect you from it.
    8) Try to be in a constant state of Wudhu if you can. It is a protection.
    9) Have a healthy and positive mindset. Stay active physically as well (going to the gym, walking, cardio).
    10) Hijama does help. I've done it twice and so far it has helped.
    11) Intention is really important when making dua. Seek Allah's help and protection as well as forgiveness constantly.
    12) Whenever a negative thought comes to your mind, remember it is from Shaitan and seek refuge with Allah.
    13) Avoid committing sins as much as you can and when you fall into a sin or the same sin repeatedly, remember to seek Allah's forgiveness always immediately after. His Mercy encompasses everything else.
    14) These creatures also fear the Adzan (call to prayer). When I make the Adzan myself, these voices would stop talking and there would be silence and serenity, even though while I pause for a bit halfway through the Adzan.
Make dua for me and I pray to Allah that He cures us and those who are afflicted by sihr / jinn posessions and interference and to protect us all from it. Ameen.

Anyone can do Ruqyah, the short passages comprise of short Surahs that most Muslim pre schoolers know combined with the surahs that are known to be the heart of the Quran. This is so we can easily protect ourselves from evil eye, whispering of Satan and jinn. Man should only be afraid of Allah and man is superior in being than jinn. Jinn also have different faiths. Some are good and some are evil. Some are chained to humans by instructions of black magic. In some ruqyas you have to revert the jinns to islam first so that they can leave the association with their designated human. Islam sets jinns free too and under Allahs submission they leave. There must be a link between mental health and our vulnerability to these things. Growing up we heard jinns were attracted to young boys, beauty and a singing voice. They are also prevalent in the darkness of the night and thus we should recite protection duaas blow over water and drink and blow over ourselves the breath of our recitation. My husband used to recite over me when I was experiencing excruciating pain from my miscarriage. It was the only thing that helped me feel physically and mentally better. It made me think that perhaps pain and depression is from satan too.

After the Quran is recited and some water is splashed on their face, she started weeping and after a while a whole different person started speaking through her. Like a male voice. The sheikh asked the jinn some questions but it just kept laughing but when the Qur'an was recited it would cry and let out agonising noises. After a couple minutes of this, my cousin just regained consciousness, and immediately started to fix her hijab and told the sheikh that she's fine and to move away from her. It was night and day when the jinn was speaking and when my cousin was, you could just tell by their mannerism.

In summary, al jinna / الجِنَّة comprises the totality of that realm of the Unseen which is inferior to that of the angels (i.e. that which consists of the drivers behind the operating system of the Matrix, and the demons themselves). But - and this is the crucial point - al jinna / الجِنَّة includes those among domini or servi who have contracted with satans actively and willingly for gain (the Cyphers, as it were).
1 Say thou: “I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind,
    2 “The King of mankind,
    3 “The God of mankind,
4 “From the evil of the retreating whisperer
    5 “Who whispers in the breasts of mankind;
6 “From the jinna and mankind.”
    (114:1-6)
The ‘retreating whisperer’ is that satan which crosses from the Unseen into the breasts of men (temporarily absorbing as it were a human who has taken no permanent fealty with the satans),
but al jinna / الجِنَّة have to be mentioned separately properly speaking since in their human form they are permanent agents of Iblīs, all visible correspondence with other human beings
notwithstanding. In its human application, I would translate al jinna / الجِنَّة by means of demons or demon-possessed to indicate those who have fully become agents of the Matrix as it were, and functionally indistinguishable from demons.
48 And when the satan made their deeds fair to them, and
said: “None among men can defeat you this day, when I am
at your side,” then when the two companies came within
sight of one another, he turned on his heels and said: “I am
quit of you; I see what you see not. I fear God”; and God is
    severe in retribution.
    (8:48)
Shaitan will deceive mankind but on the day of the Hour of Judgement, he will abandon his followers and bow before Allah the Almighty.

I'm very sceptic about this. Something i learned from living in tunisia for three years, when they tell you to be vary of thieves, it is because they will steal from you and they don't want to be the first suspect. They warned you, so it can't be them. Everyone who warned me about thieves is someone who i knew would steal, someone who isn't very morally aware. Nobody who is pious or generally a good person ever warned me about thieves, on contrary they talked positively about the country and people unless it was something that happened to them and even then they will have a positive outlook on it.
So i took that as my rule of thumb. If somebody warns you about evil, it is because they are aware of it and they are aware of it, because it is inside them. This guy started off with "there are many fake raqis who just end up charging ridiculous amounts." A real raqi wouldn't even be aware of fake raqis because he knows how it works, he knows it is true and he knows raqis are real, so he wouldn't even have fake raqis in his periphery to talk about and warn you.
Same for drug dealers, if they tell you a lot of fake stuff is going around, it's guaranteed them who are selling it. A drug dealer who sells clean stuff isn't aware of the dirty stuff going around.
You will never go to a real professional in any profession and they start with "be aware of other people in this field, you can't trust anybody except me." 100% of the time it is them who you can't trust.
Also this guy can't even recite ayat al kursi. And think why the white guy had a complete different reaction to the others. "Normal patients" overreact, puke and scream in pain and the only sceptic in the room looks like he has been drugged or is under hypnosis and found the ruqya pleasant. Like come on.
Take this to heart bobby. Muslims aren't any better than christians, you will find the same charlatans in this religion as there are in christianity. Judge the religion by its face value, not by its people. The people are exactly the same as anywhere else, if not worse.

1- I would like to say, Bobby, that 90 percent of the cases in which it is believed that they are possessed by the jinn are false and are due to psychological diseases, but there are approximately 10 percent of cases that are actually real, and that is why a Muslim scholar who has knowledge will also have knowledge in psychology and be able to differentiate between psychological cases And the possessed
2- In both cases, the Holy Qur’an is a mercy and healing for people, so recovery is by reciting the Qur’an and supplication, while taking worldly means such as medicine and other things. This is the approach of a sane Muslim.
It is not possible for a person to say I will not take medicine and I will pray to God to heal me, but we say to him, pray to God Almighty and take your medicine

    2. A person who is possessed by a Jin generally have a bad reaction to reciting of Quran and Azan. it has something to do with the sounds of Quran Aya or Azan in Arabic so it doesn't really matter if the person knows the meaning behind those.

I experienced it first hand. Had ruqya done in 2 different countries and seen a few different Raqis to treat me. I can only speak from my experience, it started out as face twitching, which worried me as I thought I was developing a form of tourrette's syndrome. It was happening more violently and stopping at random different times with no discerning trigger... I thought I should start reciting and listening to the Quran and that's when my twitching started to become more violent almost as a reaction which in turn inclined me to believe I was being affected by a jinn/shaitan. The next point I realised is that the twitching was entirely involuntary, it was somewhat of a 'let it happen' experience. So if I were to 'let go' of my facial muscles, and let the twitching take over my face would begin to speak. It's a strange experience almost like letting my muscles go on autopilot to the force that's causing the twitch. In this, I let it go to the point where it was saying things to me and I could respond to it, which made me seem like someone in a psyche ward who would speak to themselves constantly, or some sort of Lord of the Rings Golem who had a conversation with himself. I didn't feel 'out of control'. It made me realise that in the end, even with a jinn/shaitan around, we, if we choose to, are able to control ourselves. In the realisation of where I stand I had seen various Raqis and underwent various ruqya treatments. Alhamdullilah, this was about 8 years ago and I've fully recovered less than a year of going through it. Never had the same problem since.
I'll say this, if you are going through this, the one and only advice alone that I can say to gaurantee your recovery is to (along with doing your Islamic duties in prayer, etc.) read the Quran. It's very simple. Especially Surah Baqarah, Aya Kursi, Surah Ikhlas, Surah Falaq and Surah Nas. For example, after every prayer recite Surah Ikhlas, Surah Falaq and Surah Nas and that should also sustain you.

I have to say that ever since I learned Ayat ul Kursi and started reading it after every prayer I feel I have developed an aversion to sinning. I also feel much more balanced mentally and emotionally.
