Question - I have an oscilloscope and and want to make sure my 955 modulation is at 100% but not going over. I understand I need to buy an audio generator, as almost all CB or export service manuals calls for 1khz 30mV signal. I know I'll need to connect audio generator direct to microphone audio input and then short TX to key radio with input signal - BUT my question is, how do I input at 1khz signal @ 30mV? I'm looking at some different audio generators on eBay and none of them have a voltage setting as far as I can tell. How do you know if it's a 1 khz signal with 30mV? How do you set the volts and know it's 30mV? Thank you so much, love your videos.
It's usually whatever the service manuals say. Typically its 1Khz @ 30mV. Any modern function or signal generator should be able to output such a signal.

Stryker has a nice CTCSS module for these 955’s, fortunately in Maryland we actually have a 10 meter FM repeater. 73
you don't need the CTCSS module for this. It's done on USB.

No.. you have to use an adapter that has like CTS or RTS and use that in your WSJT-X setup.

CB only allows phone (voice) so no digital. No reason there cannot be besides the FCC changing the rules.
