Ya know address for the Statue of Liberty was 1 Communipaw Ave. when I was a kid.... Don't know if they changed it ?? J.C. has some rough areas but nothing like most Blue American Cities.... Still wouldn't want to live in that jungle though.... Moved to a free state now..... good tour....... be well.
Jersey City is like any other city here.. get in, get out. We had offices in Plaza 3 and Plaza 5. It has had a resurgence in parts but some parts I would not want to be in at night.
From what I’ve read there was a dispute over Liberty Island and Ellis Island between NY and NJ.
@@MileageMikeTravels Yeah, there was. Liberty State Park was part of Jersey’s plan to claim it. I never quite got the rhetoric.. it’s federal land.. like saying DC is in Maryland vs. VA. Jersey now has the Giants, the Jets and the statue.. but I always point out to Jerseyitses that make a big deal out of it is that her back is to them 😂😂

@@MileageMikeTravels Yeah, I know. I used to drive there on occasion after 9/11 when I stopped using the ferry. It’s changed a lot.
Jersey city is the most developed city in jersey. It dont even feel like jerz (until youre in the hill) Every other major city is just ran down hoods
