Excuse me Mr Fripp, but I don't know how to get to you...I'm writing from Poland. I've started my journey with your music in mid 90's from a cassette from a friend...on A side "In the court...", on B side "Thrak"...so that was a heavy shot! And I've began to study, Crim's of course, but also soundscapes, projeCKs, your solo albums, cooperations with other artists, even sounds for Windows and so on so on. I want to thank you. You've opened my mind. I admire you, your way. I admire every musician you've played with. And finally, funny, but you're not a dinosaur! You are still alive and your music is still alive...and we are laughting at Bees in the Garden! Happy Birthday Robert! I wish you Light, Space and Peace!
"Sometimes quiet moments find us." Indeed. Some time ago, I was visiting the Museum of Modern Art in New York City when I wandered into a room devoted to Monet's "Water Lilies." I was transfixed and spent a timeless amount of time enjoying and breathing in the translucent glory of the master's work. I hope someday to return to MOMA to see the remounted. room-size work, which was out of views for some time while the museum was undergoing renovation. Thank you, Robert, for contributing so much innovation and creative intelligence to music.
I have a sneaky suspicion that this was recorded at Pershore Abbey. I attended a Fripp performance there in June 2006 which was sublime. The day remains fixed in my memory. After the concert I went for a long walk in the countryside near by and then met friends for dinner in a country pub. A perfect day!
I have been a fan of Robert Fripp since 1969, when King Crimson put out their debut album In The Court Of The Crimson King. These new releases let you settle down, and release the cares of the moment. Music is medicinal, and soothes the soul.
I wish he'd release these on a CD. Yes, CD. I like to have hard copies of good music. When it's in a more ephemeral state, such as a download, they can disappear or become unsupported because that type of audio file is no longer supported, Apple removes it from all your devices without informing you because even though you paid for it, you don't actually own it, you're only renting it, etc, etc. I also wish Mr. Fripp would make "Let The Power Fall" available on disc, and release all of his Frippertronic works if more are available.
Happy Happy Birthday Mr. Fripp. Thank you very much for the intense moments that you have given me throughout my life. You have transported me from heaven to hell and brought me back again. Thank you very much for your art.
What can I say? Simply inspiring. It elevates your spirit. For being a promoter of musical progress in our time - a time spanning decades. Just tell you that you have been and continue to be one of my strongest inspirations for writing music. Sorry if my English is not perfect ... I still vividly remember the King Crimson concert on May 29, 2000 of the "The ConstruKction of Light" tour at La Riviera in Madrid. Sublime!! I downloaded it from DGM and it is one of my favorites. "The Gates of Paradise" was a before and after for me when it came to writing music. I love "soundscapes". Thank you for continuing to make music in that unique way -always ahead- and that will survive in the distant future for the pleasure and teaching of those who are to come to this world ... Take good care in these difficult times. Thanks for the Music.
Watching from Bournemouth in the UK. Sincerely hope Mr Fripp is recovered from his nasty sore throat. These sounds are magical and very calming on what for me, is set to be a very frenetic morning. Thank you for sharing your bliss.
" This is a clear aligner. It fucks up Mr Fripp;s exquisite music. Arent you glad that it does so?"

Dear Alun49 The whole performance at Pershore Abbey is here www.dgmlive.com/albums/pershore-abbey-pershore-uk
That does indeed sound like a perfect day...great music, a peaceful walk, and topped off with friends and food.

There needs to be a compilation of these. They're great to meditate to.
I buy each one as they come out and I'm making a playlist of them all along with some of his other soundscapes.

Dreamscapes flow all around me once again. Gracias Mr Fripp.
I have these saved in a folder called "Quiet music for quieting minds"
Very important for me in the midst of this age of chaos.
That's a gift: a masterpiece that isn't depending on economic revenue yet is still urgent. 🙏🏻
THE MASTER .
Words can't describe the joy and gratitude I feel at the time of listening this, your music is a gift for the soul, deep respect to you Mr. Fripp.
