My god-granddaughter spent a month with me in November while she finished up with a college course. She and I talked about unplanned pregnancy, birth control, and the whole nine yards. She told me she had been on BC but got off because she didn't like how they made her feel. So, I asked her (she was going out with some young man, every weekend she was with me) what are you doing for BC? She said nothing but was protecting herself, so why did I get a text from her a couple of weeks ago stating that she was pregnant! Her mother and I talked and she said, "I don't understand when I put her on BC?" I didn't want to tell her (she needs to) she had it removed (she had the implant). I was a little upset with her but I am ok now. She made it through her teenage years, finished college, working, and has her own place, I just wanted her to be married first. But this was her decision, and I will be there for her, I only wish you had waited.
Wow that pregnancy happened quick just like mine did. It's too bad marriage then baby isn't the norm these days. Some people stay single mothers.
