I would be super interested in an updated tier list of your favorite fantasy series ! I’m always so impressed with all the books you read and I always find something to add to my tbr
Great video!! Some of my favorite books from this year so far have been The Way of Kings, Six of Crows, and Tress of the Emerald Sea! My least favorites have been Powerless and The Wishing Game, among others haha
You got me interested enough to start reading Murderbot on KU, and I'm now on the fourth one. I'm so obsessed, it's so good and Murderbot is the most relatable character I've ever seen.
Best book of the year is a tie between Ship of magic by Robin Hobb and The Adventures of Amina Al-Sirafi by S.A. Chakraborty and the worst is probably Bunny by Mona Awad but that’s just because it’s not really my type of book. I haven’t done as much reading as I want so far but I’ve still got time to turn it around.
My favourite book so far has been A Court Of Silver Flames by SJM! I loved the romance and Cassian is definitely my new favourite batboy! I loved how we got some adult moments here too. Another favourite is of course my rereads of Shadow Of Night and The Book Of Life by Deborah Harkness. I’m going to pick up Time’s Convert this afternoon for my reread of it before The Blackbird Oracle releases, next month.
I need more sci-fi after completing the wonderful murderbot series, I just finished an older series - wayfarers by Becky Chambers and I loved it. Never been a sci-fi fan until these 2 series, now I’m looking for my next adventure.
If you like Wayfarers by Becky Chambers I think you might like The Salvagers by Alex White! It’s a space opera science fiction trilogy with fantasy elements. Has a large cast of super lovable characters, good representation, lots of action. I just finished the third book literally yesterday and I was very satisfied.
Thanks for Sharing. I too have Tainted Cup on my TBR. My favorites so far are Remarkably Bright Creatures, The Lost Bookshop, The Fire Next time, The LegendBorn Series by Tracy Deonn, Crusade for Justice by Ida B Wells, and the Good and A Day of the Fallen Night. Least Favorite Wind, Sand, and Stars y Antoine de Saint-Exuprey.
Such an elite lineup this video (well, the ones you liked anyway) ❤ Can't find your m1rderbot series review for some reason and as far as I remember you did review it?
My favorite books so far: Recursion by Blake Crouch Under the Whispering Door by TJ Klune -This was also my most surprising book and the book that actually made me cry. Promise of Blood by Brian McClellan Least favorite: Wreck the Halls by Tessa Bailey Thanks for sharing. Hope you read some more awesome books this year!
So far my favorite books this year are The Serpent and the Wings of Night and One Dark Window. ♥️ Least favorite was House of Sky & Breath. I was very underwhelmed for a book with a LARGE page count🫠
Top 3 Best: This Ravenous Fate by Hayley Dennings, Waverider (Amulet #9) by Kazu Kibuishi & Kingdom Of Vines And Silence (The Winged Kingdoms #1) by L.N. Cole Top 3 Worst: Squeak & Squeal by Vera Valentine and A Touch Of Darkness by Scarlett St. Clair
My favorite books so far this year are The Bandit Queens by Pirini Shroff, What Feasts at Night by T Kingfisher, and Broken by Jenny Lawson. Least favorites are Living Resistance by Kaitlyn B Curtis and Wormwood Abbey by Christina Baer.
My favourite books so far were The Embalmer by Alisson Belsham, i love those characters and i am so sad there are no new books on the series! I i also read my first cozy fantasy book, The House Witch 1 by Delemhach and i adored it, so funny and heartwarming just what i needed last week !! Least favourite Litte Women...boring.
Hi Regan. Have you considered listening to the audiobooks for the Red Rising Trilogy? I had a harder time reading Morning Star physically and found the audiobook so much more enjoyable and faster paced. Worth a shot if you continue the trilogy. Also, I'm looking forward to reading the Fox Wife. So many good recommendations.
Some of my fave books this year are: Husky & His White Cat Shizun vol 5, SOS Hotel: Friendly Service from Top to Bottom, and Relics of Ruin. My least favorite: The Atlas Complex, and Rescaling Urband Poverty.
Some of my favourites so far this year are Piranesi by Susanna Clarke and the Hod King by Josiah Bancroft 💛 Also really enjoyed In Memoriam by Alice Winn and Happening by Annie Ernaux! Biggest disappointment was probably Hear the Wind Sing by Haruki Murakami
Hello 👋🏼 I’m curious. How do you keep track of the books you need to read and series you have to finish? Do you use an app like Goodreads or Notion, or do you have a physical reading journal?
Me watching one of your videos and frantically searching for books on libby and audible 😅 Thank you for so many great and diverse recommendations! I also did not enjoy Red Rising, so I'm grateful to have another person sharing my opinion. I really couldn't get into the ACoTaR series as well- don't get me wrong, there was a lot to love about the first book. My favourite fairy tale is "East of the Sun, West of the Moon,' so I'm always up for a retelling of that story, I enjoyed Lucian as a character and I LOVED the ending where the main character had to go through those deadly trials. But I just couldn't connect with most of the main characters at all and I am bored by all the hot fae and their hot fae culture. The romance aspect just didn't click at all for me as a result, and so I couldn't bring myself to finish the second book because the characters and romance were really grating on me. What she went through to get her man back in the first book, only to quickly realize she doesn't love him in the beginning of the second book is like?? Not that I was that into them as a couple, but it makes the stakes of the first book fall so flat. I just wanted more Lucian and deadly trials I guess 😂
Ok, my favourite reads so far this year have been The Final Empire by Sanderson, Piranesi by Susanna Clarke and Jade City by Fonda Lee; worst books so far: The Rage of Dragons and Legends & Lattes (not my cup of tea)
peruse, i love your content but i am disappointed that you mentioned an sjm book. i've really enjoyed and looked forward to your content lately, knowing i don't have to worry about mention of her. so, this is a let down. i hope you'll reconsider mentioning her at all in future content.

Read Expanse! It's super popular but for a good reason

I’m just not into summer this year- I’m going to go with mental August fall and try that out too!
The Trials of Empire scared me so bad that I threw it across the room. Those creatures under ground had me messed up! I do plan on finishing the book.
it's spooky!!
The Spark of the Everflame series, House of Bane and Blood, Crimson Moth, The Spice Road, and When the Moon Hatched have all been really good.
I have the same edition of Binti, only in hardcover! 💜
Some of my fave books this year are: Husky & His White Cat Shizun vol 5, SOS Hotel: Friendly Service from Top to Bottom, and Relics of Ruin.
My least favorite: The Atlas Complex, and Rescaling Urband Poverty.

Love the copper hair
Your book summaries make me want to pick up everything you read. You can sell any book📚
I’m that person, where is your blouse/dress from? It’s lovely
I want to ask where her floor lamp is from! 😆
"Side quest" is a phrase all of us should use more often. 😂

Please read Bride by Ali Hazlewood. I’m not sure you’ll like it but I am just dying to see you react to certain parts
My worst book of the year. 😔 I'm glad you liked it.
got and arc of lady macbeth and it was a let down
