You know what as long as your happy and it works that’s all that matters That’s fine work yiu did You just gave me the confidence and knowledge to build us a little deck and stairs for us Nice work!
If you are talking about adding steps and a deck to your pool then my guess is no, but you may want to check with someone else. Thanks for watching and hello from the LP! :)
I don't believe so. A Googled image of stair stringers leads me to believe that we added correctly. We had to cut a big portion off of the bottom to make it work. Regardless, we did what we needed to do to make it work. Thanks for watching!
It looks like your top set has a 7 inch rise and 11 inch run... the bottom looks like the opposite in the video.. that’s why your steps overhang so far.. that’s what it looks like, I could be wrong. Just trying to help
You make a good point about the overhang in the part where we connected the two. We plan to unscrew those boards and cut off down one of the grooves to remove one section off in order to reduce that overhang on the double step. We tried to make it work the best we could since this was an unconventional way to do things. Thank you for your input.
hoov45 good deal. Enjoy your deck and pool, it’s always nice when you can do it yourself and having stairs and a deck makes it more enjoyable. Good job and good luck!

I'm in St. Tammany Parrish, did you have to get a permit for those?

No one will know. Just do it
Are the stair stringers you added upside down??
Looks like they are..
