Nome Birding Trip 2022

Nome is a bird photographer's paradise. Thanks to my lovely wife, I was able to join Matthew Studebaker on his Nome Photo Tour on very short notice. My main goal for this trip was to see/photograph the rare Bristle-thighed Curlew. Thanks to Matthew, I was not only able to see this beautiful bird but was able to have a closer look and photograph it as well. We also managed to photograph Surfbird after a long hike on the Surfbird hill. This was a bonus "lifer" bird for me.
It was a memorable trip - 7 days, 80+ species seen, 30+ species photographed.
