Rosalie Kindergarten 1976 Brisbane Airport Excursion

This is a video recorded by one of the teachers at the C&K Kindergarten at Rosalie in Brisbane circa 1976. The event was an excursion to the Brisbane Domestic airport. The original Super 8 film was scanned and enhanced.
I would be interested to hear comments from people that recogise themselves or others in this footage.

It was great at the time to experience your film. I had earlier same experience around 1971 at Adelaide Airport. We only had domestic flights at the time in Adelaide. Had privilege through our Ansett Airlines of Australia hostess to have a walk through a F27 and later on Ansett DC9. It was great. Low security and yes they were the days when we were to still free to move about.

What fantastic footage! Love seeing the old TAA and Ansett planes, I remember them well landing into Cairns. An opportunity to do what those kids did would have appeal to me as a 50 year old plane enthusiast.
That terminal still exists as the Brisbane Airport freight terminal.

Yep ..in those days you could just play with all the controls and security was almost non existant ..these days you would be ......

Yes johnpro2 security was non existent and we all worked with trust and share with positive experience plus pride...
