@@earldriskill3505 creflo dollar claims to be a Christian. please help me understand if a police officer killed someone in the line of duty Jesus would forgive that sin, because he was working for the state?
@@CBo-li3rg Creflo dollar is one of the many wolves in sheep's clothing. Scripture verse : 2 Timothy 3:2. Alot of these televangelists are. Money is their priority, not God. It shows in their lavish lifestyles. The money donated to them from their parishioners allows them to live a life of luxury. What Creflo Dollar has to do with this police officer getting murdered, I don't know. As for a police officer killing someone in the line of duty? Did he do this to protect life? The life of himself, his partner, or perhaps a civilian in the line of duty? To stop a dangerous criminal from causing harm to innocent civilians, to society in general? He was given this authority by government to serve and protect society. So I see nothing wrong if he has to take a life to protect others from the criminal element while in the performance of his duty. In the Bible, God's word, it says God has given authority to man, or humankind if you will, to establish government for a civil society, and that he has the right to use force, Roman's 13:4, to ensure the protection of that society, so that laws are upheld, otherwise you'll have anarchy. God wouldn't need to forgive a policeman who carries out his duty, which includes having to take life to uphold society's laws. For an officer of the law to murder a person, (purposeful unjustified killing) non accidental, is another matter and makes a policeman who does this a traitor to society, and a criminal. The question would be, will God forgive a murderer? Yes. He forgave more than 1 man who was a murderer in the Bible. King David for example, but you'll need to accept God/Christ as your savior, and ask for forgiveness of your sin's. If you know anything about Karla Faye Tucker, she was a woman on Texas' death row in the 90s for the murder of two people in the 80s. She gave her life to God, became a Christian and was forgiven. She was later executed by the state but had no fear of death. You can look up her story, it's on UA-cam if you don't know of her. Hope this helps.
@@CBo-li3rg Creflo Dollar is another matter. God will forgive murderers, but you have to accept Christ as your savior, and give your life to God, and accept his offer of free salvation. Killing and murder aren't necessarily the same. A police officer has the authority to take life to protect society from the criminal element, but it doesn't make him a murderer. Murder is the unjust taking of another's life.
