In the kpop sphere in general, except for a few sound places here and there, you are most of the times not allowed to express a negative opinion about a song or artist or you are immediately labeled a hater. You are not allowed to dislike some members of a group or some songs of a group or else you're not a real fan of them. This comes from a culture of worship that is reinforced by the way kpop companies advertise and present their idols, because obsessed fans will literally spend all their time and money for a group, therefore generating profit for the company. I just find it so weird when someone says that you HAVE to like every single member in a group or else you're not a real fan or other similar things. Where does that rule even come from? I genuinely want to know their basis. I guess it's wrong if you constantly shit on certain members of the group and all that typical toxic anti behavior, but I really don't see anything wrong with not devoting your time to every single member of the group. If they’re drawn to more members than others doesn’t mean they find them irrelevant. And it’s common to confuse which grps some members are from especially when you react to a lot of other grps daily. The brain makes mistakes. For me, it's not even that I like/dislike the idols. For the most part, there are some who just disappear into the background or song so I don't think about them. I don't notice them. OT#s get a bit extreme. Not everyone only follows 1 group or have kpop as their main hobby/interest. And like I said b4 these reactors have to wait so they can give honest reactions so they often times don’t know as much as we do abt the grps we love. If a member doesn’t stand out in a MV even to fans they don’t as 24/7 fan I’d know “ hey xyz was so good in this mv” etc etc. And please don’t forget they are UA-cam reactors. I’m proud they react to groups I like whether I’m satisfied with the reaction. I don’t mean this in a rude way btw
