I just picked up the 150/130 double package and I also got a pop filter and a mic stand with it all for 50 bucks. Kicker is they were purchased and never used. I got lucky on Facebook Marketplace. So far, no complaints through an Apogee Ensemble interface. Actually...quite nice
Good video as always, man. 🔥🔥 As for the mic, it's very neutral and transparent; no sibilance or low/high end boosts. As a vocalist, this would be a pretty boring but servicable mic. This would be great for voice acting and voice overs, I feel.
The thing that I’ve learned from these “budget mics” is there’s always a trade off. Some people expect way too much out of the cheaper mics and don’t understand that the market it much higher than these mics. Luckily there are people like you that can understand the limitations of some gear and making it work to your advantage rather than blaming the gear for what it is. Thanks for checking out the video!
@@RebelTech1990 Oh, and funny little detail. I recently joined the ZDM-1 Mob. It's a bit more fruitful compared to my time as a RODE Warrior, projects-wise. But good Lord, your videos stand the test of time. That handling noise is awful. Hahaha!
I’ve been saying it for so long and got a lot of hate but it’s true lol. Sad thing is it’s a good sounding microphone. I would love to modify it to make the handing noise better
@@RebelTech1990 I DID follow your process, though. Slapped a third-party shock mount on it and never looked back. For as long as I don't touch it while recording, things go well. Hahaha!
