I'm an indian and I know what is "parkar". We use this word in mathematics. Today I got to know this is a Urdu word
It's not an exclusively Urdu word. It's both a Hindi/Urdu word and the origin is sanskrit. Just like you'd call the language she's speaking as Hindi but Urdu speakers would call it Urdu and both aren't wrong.
Also, Urdu speakers call it parkar instead of prakar cus Urdu lacks the प्र type sound, hence it becomes پرکار/परकार. The same reason why Urdu speakers call screen as sakreen. This feature btw is also found in Punjabi.
