Great to see another of your videos Stuart with great advice to ensure a trouble free flight for us all.. Always like to see where people position there batterys..
Another fantastic video Stuart. Every time i see a new video from you , i want to hit that button ! I might sneak that one in later lol Big salute from the Uk my friend. 👏👏👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
Looking at your video I wonder why don't you just put a screen over the area on the bottom of the aircraft to elemenate the problem of sucking up grass?
I am unable to take-off from grass with a 6S 4400mAh battery. What am I doing wrong? In the video it takes the plane just a few meter to take-off, but mine just keeps on rolling until the end of the runway.
@@MotionRC I sold mine again, I only managed to take-off from grass with a 3000mAh battery so far in the back of the fuselage that it became too tail-heavy to fly. I also tried bigger sized wheels and lifting the nose a bit as it was suggested in the video, but no success. It's a pity because the F-35 looked really awesome and I was looking forward to flying it a lot. Now I just have a loss of more than 100€ just by buying this airplane, not managing to take-off from grass and having to sell it again.
Cool plane and nice flight. However, instead of using a screwdriver which, if your not careful, you could bust a blade. but instead, buy a can of compressed air...
Goldarn. G's Stuart you fly that thing like you stole it. LOL LOL great job buddy. Had no idea that plane was so capable. Thanks a lot, skip, skip built RC
you installed the nose wheel the wrong way now the suspension is not working like i should be its mounted backwards so guys just note you do not put it on backwards it only makes it worse i hope motion is going to pin a comment or ad to the descriptio n of this video
Are you able to elaborate a bit more on the mod for the front oleo? A bunch of us are having a hard time getting this bird to take off from grass, but pulling the front retract apart, there's no way you're able to gain 10mm of extra length on the standard pin. Even raising it 5mm leaves barely enough pin for the grub screws to get purchase on. Awesome bird to fly, on the rare occasion she will actually lift off from the grass. Thanks!
Hey Motion RC, great video! Would you mind if we start including some of your videos in the reviews we do of your products for the digital version of our magazine and our website?
Man I have been putting my 4500 6s all the way to the front of the batter tray where the wood meets the foam. I had the battery back on the maiden and it was a scary flight. Super pitchy and tail heavy.
I use cheap antis plash frying pan wire guard on the bottom cheater hole on my BAE Hawk and cut 35x20mm holes ( one either side ) just above the wing to compensate for the mesh so perhaps a couple of carefully cut chevron macaducts on top would have the same effect and keep the fan clean.!!! (probably cheaper than a long screwdriver Stuart and better in the long run )
In this video this guy talks about his remote control or RC F-35 Lightning but what I am going to talk about in the comment you are currently reading I am going to inform you of the real F-35 Lightning. first it is one of the most advanced and well equipped fighters to ever takeoff from the ground. It's to speed is Mach 1.6. As you can see it is a very fast aircraft but I can not tell you it's top altitude because I just don't know and I am to lazy to look it up. Some different variants of the Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning are the F-35A the F-35B the F-35C the F-35I "Adir" Proposed variants the F-35D and finally the CF-35 Several country's have the Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning is stock. Those include The United States Of America ,the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Italy, Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands, and formerly Turkey. Several other countries have ordered, or are considering ordering. Also the F-35 Lightning can land without using a runway. Yes it is try it can even seem to float off the ground and land softly like a helicopter lands and that is all I have to say for the F-35 Lightning.

Stuart, you are my favorite pilot for Motion as you give great advice and build value in everything you fly!
great job!
Should really label it the F-35A, as it is clearly an A model in AF-01 paint scheme. Next up F-35B with hovering ;)
Yes yoi guys should test my vtol models;)
@@Joelmelanie yes!
It would be cool if this RC had the Fan spin down towards the grass and can hover a little bit.
It would then cost 10x the price as that tech hasn't been produced on a mass scale for EDF jets yet
@@MotionRC I would pay for that Collectors Item.
add a peace window screen on the bottom of the belly made it will help keep it out . like the video

Wait you can belly land this thing? I have mine sitting in a box because im too afraid my field isnt up to scratch for the retracts lol.

try to calibrate the esc? Is your battery old/overused? contact our customer service, they can help you www.motionrc.com/pages/help-center
@@MotionRC It's a completely new battery, perfectly balanced. ESC I did not yet calibrate, does that make a difference?
@@Racetom couldn't hurt to try. I calibrate everything before the first flight

Does Motion RC carry the YF-23?
no, but banana hobby sells one
Good to see the new F35 flying off the grass, it performs well, PS you have put the nose wheel strut on bacKwards??
That hand launch is really impressive! I hadn’t even considered doing that with mine lol
How to turn plane.....what reason and contraction

Looks like you've got your nosewheel on backwards?!
Great flyin Stuart, thanks for another great video 👊🏼👊🏼👍🏼
But you do know your front landing gear is now 180 degrees wrong direction right?
Nose gear turned backwards???
That landing was beautiful! I’d love to see that on a runway, with gear. That was the best RC Lansing I’ve ever seen!
This is really nice but an f35c with the larger wings would’ve been cool. It adds flaps and probably easier to fly
Too large creates drag, extra weight and then is too floaty. To me is about right.
A pipe cleaner would be better, plus you can fold it up and put it in your back pocket.
I love mine to just a sweet flying plane 🛩👍
Great performance! 😍 What for a camera use Stuart on his cap? I need some to record my flies... 😋
Max Supercars That looks like a Runcam 2, which is a very good camera for under $100.
Yeah I found it already and ordered the orange one. I will see how good it will be. Thank you! 🙂
👍
Very nice EDF Jet, has much Power for this Price !!
Yes it does!

Which is best 90mm 6 blade or 70 mm 11 blade for 2200mah 3S lipo?
Good video bro!!
A 14 inch long alligator clamp will work very well in getting that grass out of the fan.
Was wondering about hand launching. nice
Would be much harder to do by yourself but I guess it could be done
Very useful lecture, in theory and practice, thank you very much Mr. Warne.
Next on the list!!!!😃👍🏻✌🏻👍🏻
Easy is that huh Stuart lol. Your a phenomenal pilot mate. Great plane. I love mine.
MORE GRASS OPS REVIEW PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Did you hold any power on those landings?
Thanks for the advice 👍
More of a carpeg then grass
Is this Stuart's first video ??
Not at all, he's done many thus far
Old "Hobby King" guy.......😎
Will it run on nimh
