Here’s a Comparisons of the Diesel 10 and P.T. Boomer chase scene from Thomas and the Magic Railroad Finalized Original Cut and Theatrical Cut.
Originally the finalized original cut was found in February 2009 but seemed like a music test and you could barely hear the audio which the original audio was lost for a long time until in June 2015 the scene was found without test music which was private but it was uploaded properly in December 2015 since Doug Lennox the actor P.T. Boomer sadly passed away in November 28, 2015 which posted as a tribute to him. P.T. Boomer was infamously cut due to test audiences of children were terrified of him which all of the scenes and footage of him was cut except as a cameo played by a different actor and a model on figure on top of Diesel 10 in the final cut. A Workprint was leaked online in 2020 and featured on the TATMR 20th anniversary Blu ray release which featured P.T. Boomer. However the original finalized cut of the scenes are still lost which are probably deep in Sony’s or Britt Allcroft’s archives which we’ll have to wait and see if the finalized original cut of the film will ever surface the light of day.
While this film was presented in it’s 16:9 format the movie was filmed in 4:3 and it’s one of the last pieces of Thomas media to be made in full screen which Season 6 would change to widescreen surprisingly in 2002. So I thought of presenting the full screen version as that how it was made and some fans prefer it than the widescreen version since it’s just 4:3 cropped to 16:9. Anyway hope you enjoy these comparisons and differences.

Oh my god, the “no you won’t BOOMER, because the magic you refuse to believe in, will get the better if you” was fucking mint. I’ve always known that was the original line. My son was confused when he heard this line in the release version because he knew Diesel 10 believed in the magic, so Burnettes line was sort of redundant for that shot without boomer.
That line Actually kind of makes sense since Boomer also believes in the magic and

Legendary composer John Barry
was to do the film score for

but for one reason or another,
he quit late in production and at the
last minute, was replaced by
Hummie Mann (who previously replaced John Barry for the 1992 Peter Yates film: *"Year of The Comet").*
Imagine if the film had more villains, Boomer would've had 11 brothers who joined him in the hunt.
When Sir Topham Hatt returned from his vacation, he spoke severely to diesel 10 and had PT Boomer arrested

The old version actually makes sense because how is Diesel 10 going to say now I get you bernetstone like it just makes more sense since PT Boomer been to the magic railroad besides it would have been a better movie because the because the theaterical cut feels unfinished

Ooh diesel 10 voice sounds different, why did they changed it, im curious

What happened to pt boomer he was never in the final film now look at me trying to find out what happened in the finalized original cut version and the theaterical version
The only reason PT Boomer wasn't in the film is because kids thought he was scary and there wasn't a lot of scenes with the train's
