You would need to get either RCA or some other type of cable to hook it into your amp or home stereo system. Or you can even plug into some computer speakers if you are a bedroom dj.
you can hook up the output of your board to one of the aux inputs but you can not use your board to go from one deck to the other if thats what you plan on doing.
If you don't want to use an amplifier, you need to get powered speakers that have an amplifier built in to it. Either way, speakers need a power source. It is being amplfied in some way whether externally or internally.
This unit does not offer scratching. It will play standard cd's only. There will be a new unit coming out that will offer scratching and play MP3 CD's or you always have the CDMP6000 which will play cd's, usb and offers scratching. IDJNOW
yes it will. you will only be able to hear one side at a time however. i recommend at least some inexpensive computer speakers os that you can at least practice.
am i able to use logitech computer speakers with this? or do i have to buy expensive new speakers, something i want to avoid doing. please reply asap. thanx a lot
i bought that 2 years ago when i startet djing now its very nice for practising at home but dont use this to dj in a club cause: no bpm counter ( you dont really need this but its nice to have) loop function is bad there is always 1-2 seconds silence till your loop starts first time you cant controll dj software or load tracks from your computer into your decks Cue point function doesnt work anymore and i dont even know why -.- but the good thing is pitching/beatmatching works nice with that=)
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS UNIT!!...you cannot scratch and IT WILL mess up on you its just a matter of time. the components from which its built from are very cheap. i had it and one of the cd players stopped working within 2 weeks n then the other not long after that....if you are looking for a unit of this sort buy the american audio ck 1000 its much more reliable and you can scratch on it...if you r looking for something to hook up your laptop to get the numark mixdeck, also very good
FMSpsychotek and issacknegrito87.... I think it would beneficial to everyone if you learn how to mix tracks on your own. You'll feel more accomplished, and it's fun to learn. You can show off your skills at parties rather than feel like just another piece of equipment who choses the music but lets the technology do the rest. BORING! That could be why your comments have been thumbed down. Learn it yourself! Why be a DJ if you don't really want to.... do the DJing?
i have d cdm3600 and what a waste of money,cd 1 deck sometimes doesnt read da cd and to be honest the only good thing bout it is the mixer! its not a professional dj unit by any means sorry to say!
Yes you can. There is a record output so that you can connect it to a cd burner or computer if need be.
The CDMP5000 does not offer scratching and we cannot produce a video of it as it has yet to be brought to market.
It is 19" rackmountable but because of the slant, we recommend the CDM case made by Gemini or Odyssey as the angle would be off.

The cdm3600 does not allow scratching but the CK1000 from American DJ does.
you would need an 1/8 to rca cord and you would need to plug it into the auxilary jack on the back.
You can connect the audio output of the laptop into a channel on the mixer. However, you cannot control the laptop from the CDM3600 in any way.
It is possible to use computer speakers with this unit. As long as it can plug in by RCA or XLR jacks it should work fine.

You can connect this unit to the back of your amplifier
There is no delay regarding the looping when you loop out. There is no key lock on this unit.
You can use xlr to xlr cables. i recommend at least 20 ft cables.
Where do the CDs go????
yes it will. you will only be able to hear one side at a time however. i recommend at least some inexpensive computer speakers os that you can at least practice.
You can plug this into the computer with an RCA to 1/8" jack.
This is a better player than both units as it is an upgraded version of the CDM500 which has been discontinued.
Just use the master rca output to connect to the amp and then plug the banana jacks into the the amp and the 1/4 jacks into the speakers.
There is no key lock option on this unit.
This unit does not offer a scratch feature.
Can you connect this to a stereo and use its speakers. Like you can connect a tv to a stereo using an aux cable?
i like it when its a combo like this one, like players and mixers together, my only question is does it have a BPM reader ??
thnx
i see gemini have just brought out a newer version of this the cdmp5000 which has scratch i think is there any chance of getting a video of that unit.
The built in software for the cd players only allows for searching.
can you connect this to a laptop? not for the speakers but for the music to run to the mixer using vdj for example?
If you burn an audio CD, it will play on this system. It won't play an MP3 CD though.
Is it able to connect a turntable and for examle a effects mixer KORG KAOSS PAD 3 to this thing?.... please tell me :(
so this cd players wouldnt work with serato interface hardware or software?
the the pitch bend things-the wheel- the track goes forward, i know, but does it do the scratching sound like a real turntable?
saguitar541 no it doesn't those big bad boy wheels are a total waste of space
Is there a BPM indicator????in that unit????
does it has the SYNC bottom?? or How can i SYNC the songs?? cause i want buy it but i need to know this please...
can this be connected to a laptop, so that i can play my iTunes music and stuff? instead of having t burn CDs?
am i able to use logitech computer speakers with this? or do i have to buy expensive new speakers, something i want to avoid doing. please reply asap. thanx a lot
You can play MP3 audio CD's, USB thumb drives and hard drives with a better display.
If you purchase those speakers, you will need an amplifier. The speakers will not do anything if there is no power going into it.
please someone tell me ...
is this cd player better than the GEMSOUND CDM-150 or CDM-500 ?
thanks .
has it the master tempo function (same tonality with different speed)?! please answer me! :'(
You cannot scratch with this unit. If you burn an audio CD it will play but an MP3 CD will not play on this unit.
is possible to scratch on the jog wheels?
will it work with just headphones tell i get speakers
It has a loop with no editing functions.
Can you connect a computer as an second input?
Have the pitch control problem been fixed?
there is no way i can plug an ipod into this, right? is there a way to?
can u use this console with the computer and which one is better cdm 3600 or this one
Does this mixer work with Virtual DJ software ?
can i use burned cds on this
Yes...you'll need an 1/8" to RCA adapter cable.
Will not work with Serato. The only all in one unit that works with Serato is the Prodigy FX by B52.
All the CDM3600 units do this. It is the software that is causing this to happen. There is no fix for this delay.
This unit does not scratch

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS UNIT!!...you cannot scratch and IT WILL mess up on you its just a matter of time. the components from which its built from are very cheap. i had it and one of the cd players stopped working within 2 weeks n then the other not long after that....if you are looking for a unit of this sort buy the american audio ck 1000 its much more reliable and you can scratch on it...if you r looking for something to hook up your laptop to get the numark mixdeck, also very good

Jump to the future.

No you cannot

the mixer on the video is pretty basic.
maybe he already has a better one
but that integrated mixer is all you need to get good at mixing
Hindi
using your ears mate
so you cant scratch on it...like decks? well...ok...
i have d cdm3600 and what a waste of money,cd 1 deck sometimes doesnt read da cd and to be honest the only good thing bout it is the mixer! its not a professional dj unit by any means sorry to say!
Michael McBreen I also have the same problem with CD 1
so you cant use the jog wheel so you can mix with a program like virtual dj?
does it has the Sync bottom?? or How can i Sync the tracks??
