A blustery winter afternoon with massive waves along the rugged coast of Maine, at Nubble Light. Drone and terrestrial account of waves spraying nearly 100 feet in the air!

I have visited Nubble Light maybe about once every 3-4 years since I was little. No matter how many times I have been there...I end up taking about 100 photos of it. It never disappoints.
Awesome video! In the 1600s, this Savage Island belonged to my family. What a majestic view you have captured! Btw, we met today at the Greenland Church....looking forward to that video as well! Thank you, sir!
Wonderful to see the lighthouse from a different perspective. I check out the livecam everyday but of course you cannot see that it is an island from that viewpoint. Thank you from Wales.
We do too - we're in Florida, but have family in New England that we visit as much as we can - and a trip up there wouldn't be complete without a trip to Nubble! I've compiled quite a few photos over the years - feel free to take a look: www.deremerstudios.com/Fine-Art-Photography/Topical-Collections/Lighthouse-Collection/
Awesome video! How could anyone give this a thumbs down! I’ve been flying all over for three years, watched tons of drone footage, and this is awesome!
@@DeremerStudios cans you believe I’m actually in Maine visiting. I flew at Nubble yesterday and Portland Light. Today I hit Pemaquid and Boothbay Harbor. I was heading for Marshal Point when the roan hit! Loving my time here! I meant it your video is awesome! Sometimes the weather can help make a good video in addition to flying skills. One of my coolest videos is of Cumberland Falls in Kentucky when it was flooding. It was raging!
@@jeannesdroneventures6078 that's awesome - you got more done in a day than I did in two weeks up there! Weather was not great most of our visit though. I did the fireworks video from Portsmouth that is on our channel, and then a car event which is also up, and then I did Portsmouth Harbor light (NH) at sunrise which was really cool, and Nobska Light on Cape Cod at sunset. Still need to do those two videos. Looking forward to seeing your videos!
@@DeremerStudios lol! The purpose of this trip is to get as much drone footage as possible and stop to see the sights along the way. I’m in Camden now for the Camden Classic Regatta! There is an if sailboat parade I the harbor Saturday morning. I grew up sailing in the Long Island Sound with my father. So around sailboats is a favorite of mine. I have a bunch of videos of that you can check out of you are interested. I’ll be on the lookout for anything you post and look forward to it!
I don't blame you - unfortunately, because the wind was strong and I didn't have any professional recording equipment with me, none of the sound I recorded from my videos on the ground were even close to usable - no waves sounds or anything like that, just buffeting sounds. And, of course, the drone doesn't record sound, as all you would hear are the motors. So, i thought music was the next best thing!

Wonderful video and beautiful location.
Majestic, powerful, beautiful! The harmony of nature is mesmerizing!
Thanks! For all the fierceness of Atlantic storms, there is a lot of beauty in them too!

Beautiful! I hope to visit one day.
You should! It's a great spot to visit pretty much any time of the year!
@@DeremerStudios I agree! I watched the season's change via the live cam. It's a wonderful place. 💞
I loved seeing Nubble in person

I have been to this lighthouse every year multiple times a year since 2006 now it’s 2022
Are those lights on the buildings there all the time?
I believe they are there more or less Thanksgiving through mid January, but I am not certain. Seems they are lit more and more each year.
Great video!
Awsome Pictures! Greetings to Maine :-)
Thanks - We do love the New England coast. Wish I could spend all year there!
Excellent! Thanks from Great Britain (Fri 19 Feb 2021 21h24)
Our pleasure - glad you enjoyed it! Have you ever been to Maine?
@@DeremerStudios No.

would have rather heard the 'fury', than music
