    Gianna, I learned CRAW from an article in Bead & Button-you've made PRAW so easy to understand. Thanks for sharing this! Can't wait to see your tutorial for embellishing PRAW.

    Thank you so much for showing this stitch, I have had a lot of trouble with the craw still haven't got the hang of it .but I find it was easy to start the first few rounds with a wooden pencil for this stitch I have cracked it thank you for your tutorial . christine uk

    Just trying this stitch. This tutorial was way easier to follow than the first video I tried. To others just watching, note that Giana accidentally edited out adding a round of metallic and 8/0 on the second round. Just copy the same as the first round and you will end up with 6 8/0s on top as required to continue.

    I made an entire necklace using only 11/0 preciosa beads with 8 beads in a row and the rope is a bit tighter than yours, still very flexible but very neat, one can hardly see any thread. I think the key is to use the smaller sized sead beads if you want to have a neat and tidy rope. Before that I tried my beloved Tohos, again only 11/0's, it was not so nice a result.

    Hey there, I just started the PRAW a few minutes ago and now i need to add thread. Can you please guide me to a tut. on this please. This is my first time ever doing this stitch I'm just thinking to think of adding thread to a tubural netted pattern. ?? hopefully that's all I have to do. lol I really enjoy your u tube tutorials and your a great teacher. Hope you can help me out and talk soon take care.

    • @B4Pbakup
      @B4Pbakup  8 років тому

      just finish up on the top with your old thread. Add a thead also in the top. Go around with the new thread until it is tight. Now connect the old thread to your end tail with a double knot. Work both ends away in to the project and continue as you have :-)

    Thank you. Lovely.

  • @leedriesbaugh673
    @leedriesbaugh673 8 років тому

    why can I see all of the threads? I was taught myself to do the PRAW CUBIC RIGHT ANGLE WEAVE PART FIRST AND THEN PUT THE SIZE 11/0 BEADS IN BETWEEN THE 8/0 BEADS SO YOU COULDN'T SEE THE THREADS.

    • @B4Pbakup
      @B4Pbakup  8 років тому

      You can always see thread when you do craw or Praw. That's why people use either c-lon in a matching color to the bead or the embellish it like you do when you ad a seedbead in between your craw.

  • @Mellie726

    Thank you for this great tutorial. I just learned CRAW so wanted to learn PRAW stitch, I am ok through the base row. However, I have redone over and over again the 2nd row and can't get it to come out. I end up with 5 beads and then am lost -, did you perhaps just omit how to do one of the last beads thinking we understood, and just proceeded to the last bead?

    • @B4Pbakup
      @B4Pbakup  8 років тому +1

      I started with size beads so you should always have 6 beads. Like craw you start with 4 you always wind up with 4.

      everything is the same from the first 11-8-11 I add to closing up the top. After you close up the top you started again with 11-8-11 and repeat it until your rope is long enough, Yes I repeat it a little starting round 2 and show again how to close up
