Good morning! We also gather information from the locals. When we were in BM, we intentionally visited a salon to wash our hair. During the hair wash, we inquired about good places to eat. The lady was very helpful, providing detailed explanations about which places were not so good and where the locals usually go to eat. As tourists, we often find ourselves lured into touristy spots with expensive prices and mediocre food. Consider spending at least two days and one night in BM if you're not from Penang. Avoid staying at BM hotels as they are old and expensive. Instead, try FU Hotel, located approximately 20 minutes away from BM, Penang Outlet Mall, and Perai. The rates are around RM170++. This hotel is modern, spacious, and provides a comfortable stay.
