- Did you know chickens have gyroscopic ability? It's pretty cool to watch them how they can keep their heads stable! Apparently, chickens have this ability to keep their heads fixed on a spot, regardless of their orientation! Science experiment!

Not always. & also depends on how you hold them
It tells me they're well treated and looked after well. I'm not a farmer, but logically you would expect a mistreated animal to be ill-tempered and aggressive. Why would they be calm in the presence of the person who mistreats them? Right? So, likewise if he treats them well, they would not just tolerate him, but maybe even be glad to see him, associating him with the good things he does.
So, it stands to reason he must treat his animals very well for them to be so calm.
My chickens freak the hell out when i pick them up :(
Chickens are my oldest daughters favourite animal (and frogs). She would love to have some. I've seen her sit and pet them for ages. I think it's how calm they can be, like these ones, when you hold them.
That's true, the more you pet them the more they get used to it
It just occurred to me that if you include a hypnosis straight line, then you can prevent the chicken from turning its head at random.
i tried that and it didnt work

Why do they do that?
It probably stayed with them evolutionally so they can focus on their pray and not loose it from their eye sight
