U know the data logging coming soon still says that but it’s actually been working this whole time it just takes long to link you just have to register account and your able to data log they never took that dang message off 😅
You're a hell of a good sport for taking so much feedback from the anonymous peanut gallery. One idea maybe get that rig consistently into the 120mph range on perfect tarmac/road and than move it on to the dirt? Just an idea from a dude with no skin in the game just hate to see you keep yard saling that monster. Good luck thanks for the entertainment.
But suspension way different seems power is not an issue and set up not an issue as I run well over 100mph anytime I want tires are the biggest issue and area ?
I absolutely recommend the blink for who ever sees this comment been using it for 2 years on all my castle cars and been pulling logs for over a year just make sure you guys register the blink to whatever esc it’s hooked up to and you will see the option to pull logs they might take a while so make sure the esc is set to record 5 frames per second and not 10 and you will be golden
You can't pull the logs YET...but its great for making changes on the fly when you're out driving the car. I use a Futaba 7PXR and I find that adjusting the throttle curve and brake curve with the ESC is better than using the controller. I'll also use both to fine tune things but you get way more response using the curve from the ESC then using the controller to make minor adjustments. Futaba has the throttle speed setting which is also great for kind of timing when you want power to kick in. Using all of that together helps. B-Link is great cause you don't need to bring a laptop with you when want to change ESC settings. I have an MGM ESC as well and it was frustrating because for every little change I wanted to make I'd have to go back home and hook it back up then go back out again (or invest in a laptop to keep on site).
Man I love my castle B-link devices for field changes and quick review of log data without having to carry a laptop around. I found the B-links very easy to setup and use. However, if you do log analysis you will still want to do your deep dives via a computer. Also the option to send yourself emails with the log data is a real nice capability.
That was an awesome run.. that lifting of the Mojave in 60s to 70s was my problem.. I cut a piece of packaging foam that a controller came in and fit it in the windshield hole and has helped tremendously on keeping 4 wheels on ground..
@@earlmoorhead5555 when you hit 1234 the "keep default password" shows up at the bottom, hit that, then it will tell you to power off and back on again
I have seen others mention it, logging on mobile devices works. I do run into glitches sometimes when the B-link won't see the log data from the esc. I typically have to turn the esc off and restart the castle app on my phone. Then you can try again and hope the b-link will see the data and / or completely download the log file. It can be temperamental at times but it's still a great feature.
Yes my dbxle 2.0 logs are up as it has the new update in it drawing 200amps well 195 amp waiting on the next run with the old version finally installed into the rc nothing changed and I’ll be showing the run and logs next weeks as the parks are full on weekend running it on grass for a heavy load 👍
I've used the blink for logs before with some drag passes. But found it to be somewhat undependable to pull data onlocation. But i have been successful a couple times. It also just showed curves for amps, ripple and maybe throttle but I can't remember 100%.
Earl if u no anyone that would be interested in a xmaxx and they have a talion send them my way I would trade straight up I'm much more of a truggy type driver than a xmaxx type and I wish proline would make those badlands belted they would be the best

Nice I saw the logging part that was never there before I figured it was working now thanks 🙏
Passcode is always 0000 or 1234 and to reset it u use that receiver bind plug
Great video Earl that's pretty much all I use is the b-link and work for me for this long
Nice 👍 I can’t wait to try it again been years 👍👍
@@earlmoorhead5555 I use it a lot in my 22s drag car I got a castle sensor system in it

I tried updating the firmware using the app on my phone,it froze up and bricked my esc. Thanks castle!!

You can on the first page of the blink
You have to register to use logging

Drop some more weight onto the truck. At least 1 pound, just to keep it planted. That powerful motor can handle it.

Have you tested your theory on the updates pulling power ? I pulled 500a @160mph yesterday on the xlx2 with no problems. Genuinely interested…
