I have watched many other wallet tutorials & I wanted mine to look this way. I know there are different ways to make these - such as constructing the inside & outside separately - but that can be just as complicated & this happens to be my way.

Im used to watching youtube tutorials and this one was very easy to follow! I made one with the clear packing tape for the id holder and it was awesome! Thank you posting!!
i did the 9th peice and she just need to explane better so know i have 9 peices of 10 in and half duck tape sheets and its pretty muck just going to waste

Once they are pressed they will stay closed. These are freshly made, so the seams aren't broken in. Use a heavy book or two to set on your closed wallet overnight to set the folds.

This is more on the intermediate design but it is still very easy to follow...exacto knife and cutting/measuring board are a must have for those who are complaining of difficulty.

The first time I did the the duct tape coin pouch, the duct tape pencil pouch, the duct tape flower, the duct tape rose pen, and the bifold wallet. Mostly, I liked this one. Thank you again for sharing this with us!
Just finished making a trifold wallet using this design and it turned out incredible! Some of the instructions were a tad bit confusing, but I managed to set things straight. I have a couple suggestions for anyone attempting to nake this (1) cheap screen protectors for mobile devices work well for the ID holster and are a lot more durable than the folder separators. (2) when finished making the wallet, cut a 2 1/2" piece of velcro and place it on opposing sides of the wallet to help fasten it together. (One strip on the outside left panel, and the other one on the inner right panel) Thanks for the tutorial
I honestly used my bifold regularly for over a year & it didn't fall apart. But, I wouldn't recommend stuffing the pockets with ridiculous amounts of cards - 2 or 3 each is enough.
Allison is awesome! I've been subscribed to her for years. :) I actually did watch her video when I was trying to learn how to make a trifold, however, I like my wallet design better. I don't think it's possible to not have any fold-over lines on the front... you have to connect the strips of tape somehow.

I don't even know. Duct tape always confuses me. I spent hours making the design for this. But, I do watch handfuls of duct tape bifold & trifold videos to see all the different methods that can be used for making the shell, pockets, overall design... then I pick out the components I like the most to make an original design.
