Hi everyone! Just a heads up that I definitely make some rules errors in this playthrough BUT I'm pretty sure we catch all of them during the game and correct them in video! So watch and learn from my mistakes! If there's anything I missed feel free to let me know in the comments below, as always. Or if you have any questions! I know the core rules pretty darn well and I know the scenario rules for this one a lot better now through experience ;)
That's this game for ya. There's so much to remember lol I always look back after like 2 rounds and just say "oh I forgot blank"
I just got the zombies vignette and its a wild one.
Adrenaline Rush: If either the Final Girl and/or the Killer only has their Final Health token remaining (either black or white), you may roll +1 additional dice for all of your Horror Rolls (+2 dice if they are both down to only one health!). This is indicated by the +1 icon on the back of the Final Health tokens. If additional health is recovered such that they have more than just the Final Health token remaining, this benefit is lost.
Who cares this was a great watch. It’s easy to get caught up. I enjoyed watching 🦾🦾🦾
My logical reason for the hatchling one-shotting you is that it’s looking for a host to incubate in. You can try to get to it, and kill it while it’s most helpless, but if you don’t it gets inside you to incubate and grow to it’s next form, which is obviously deadly for the host.
ohhh that's a great thought! I mean... not "great" but... you know what I mean
Paula like "oh are there are aliens running around that want to incubate in my body? Fuck it, I'll just have no cards" 😂
One final point: your action phase would have ended when you flipped the Evomorph's final health token. Whenever a final health token flips revealing more health whatever phase that happens in ends. You could have bought a retaliate and if it attacked you, you would have won with the Retaliate... or if it didn't you could have moved to it an attacked potentially on your next turn.
I always forget about that rule. Like, damn near every time.
The closest space to you will be your space unless there is an x in your space. This is why you should use the scan cards after you are done moving because it places an x in your space and if the Evomorph appears it will not be in your space.
Also, I would have turned the walk from the bridge into 2 to save the 2 victims.
Also, you can equip items when you find them so you could have equipped the Flamethrower when you found it.... edit... I see chat got you on that one.
Your original Flamethrower use could have been dealt from storage without moving into its space, so it would have not damaged you. You also had a sprint when you used it the 2nd time so you could have moved first and used the Flamethrower at range.
Got this Feature Film today and boy, at the end of the game I triggered the Self-Destruction system and managed to kill the Evomorph right before the countdown ended. So I escape my pod with The Captain (special meple). That was an impressive game!
Just got my copy of the evomorph expansion and I played it with the Paula card. The monster was fully evolved and the bloodlust was full. I was down to one health and the creature had 2 attacks on my and I rolled 2 success on a guard and a retaliate respectively. I'm able to lure it into the hanger and blow the airlock but the final health token revealed 2 hearts so it hung on to the hull and survived the vacuum of space and I rolled a 1 and got sucked out. It was an epic loss
Hey Paula, I love your videos!!! When you scan, the space you are in is the closest space unless there is already an X there. ,VanRyder games gave it the official answer int he FAQ. Keep these FG videos going :)

Honestly, I'm very glad you caught the flamethrower mistake because for about 20 minutes I was pleading with my screen for you to read the item card fully lmao. Don't worry though, we all make mistakes!
Also having now watched to the end, I need to point out that when you flip over the killer's final health token and it has health on the back, it ends the action phase immediately. So you wouldn't have been able to double tap it on that last turn sadly. But in the spirit of flagrant cheating, I'll give it a pass.

I bought this game -- and this scenario -- yesterday, played it last night. My event was "orphan girl", so my first action was to race into the next room to rescue the poor little orphan girl (AKA "not-Newt" -- since I was playing as Ellen I *had* to) and we headed through, picking up a couple of others along the way. In a very short amount of time I had gotten four people off the ship. Everything was going great, almost no evomorph activity, until I rolled a triple-success scan, lured it in to ambush it -- and totally flubbed my attack roll. At which point I began to realise the error of my ways. I did not survive long after that. 🙂

This has become one of my favorite FG feature films. Looking forward to S3/Wave 3!
I've not seen the setup cards, but I'd imagine it's nearly impossible to kill the evomorph before it gets one kill. Well, unless an Event kills all victims near it early on, thus giving you a chance to get Critical Strike and move to engage.
I was on the fence about picking this feature up, but now I'm convinced that I need to add it to my collection! 🍻

Hey Paula! I had a question, when given these games from van ryder how much do they give you? To better phrase do they give you the feature films and that's it? Or do you get the extras like the deluxe health tokens, minis, and extra props? I've always just been curious!! Thanks for being you! Your videos and personality are a great escapism!!
Thank you for the kind words! Everything you see in the streams they've very kindly sent me to help me play the game online. Hate to be this girl but when you flip a final health token the phase ends however you had enough for retaliate so you would have still won regardless. dope vid as always

At what point do you write "How many dice?" on your hand, to help you remember to add your extra dice?
You definitely missed out on some possible successes by not rolling all the dice you should be!

I think you cant choose if u can use an item or not if its "equiped".
The rules say you may choose to add the damage modifier, so it’s definitely optional.

I bought you a 530g Box of Cadbury Milk Tray. When I asked the Post Office how much it would cost to send it to you, they told me £299.99p and they would possibly have melted by the time you got them. I forgot about how warm it is in America. So to stop them from melting, I ate them myself. They were VERY GOOD. Hope you don't mind. There is a slight chance I made that up.
