Thank you very much Leo and Heather for sharing this video with us. I am not a super big fan of country music ( more a rocker than anything else ) But I do like a few artists, Johnny Paycheck is one of them. I used to sing in a very low 15:05 voice, " take this job and shove it! " at a job I had at the time. ( It was not the worlds greatest job.) Until one day, I did not notice my boss walking by as I was singing. He cleared his voice to get my attention and said; " cool it! " Ok boss. ( He was not the worlds greatest boss.) Thank you very much again Leo and Heather, I really appreciate all the work you two put into your videos. 😊 15:05
HEY LEO AND MRS LEO LUV YUNS ALLWAYS AND THANX ALLWAYZ FOR UR WONDERFUL VIDDY. OZ. YUR STRANGE. AND ODD. UA-cam BUD. M.Y.T.A.K.A. CHARLEY 😊❤😊 TAKE IT EASY LIKE THE EAGLES 70.S SONG 😊❤😊.
Loved Mr. Jones & Tammy Wynnette. I have a collection of 78 rpm records recorded by the "Georgia Skillet Lickers". These were recorded late '20s to mid '30s. Talk about old time Country music. These boys were from northern Ga. near the Appalachian Mtns. There are plenty here on UA-cam.
Wow, if I'd known you were in Nashville I would love to have met you and Heather and taken you guys out to dinner. My son used to work for George Jones setting up sound equipment for him. My son loves going cemetaries and knows a lot about the local cemeteries here. Another great episode guys!

Leo I hope you and your tour group get to go out to hurricane Mills Tennessee it would tie in real good with the segment you done on Loretta Lynn's, hurricane Mills is a very nice attraction
There was a museum/honky tonk on 2nd street off of Broadway in Nashville unfortunately the pandemic caused it's demise. It was very nicely done, I don't know where the memorabilia ended up once it was closed. George Jones paid for Johnny Paycheck's funeral and burial
Awesome video! A bit closer to your neck of the woods, I'd love to see you guys talk about the tragic and violent 1974 death of Roy Lee Centers, Ralph Stanley's lead singer at the time, in Breathitt County KY... Centers was eventually replaced by Keith Whitley, who met his own tragic end. There's a statue of Whitley in Sandy Hook KY if you're ever through there.
Ok funny story, well, I think it’s a funny story. My ex husband and a couple of his buddies went to a George Jones concert , south of Ashland, Ky. The guys had been drinking and by the time George took the stage, my ex was 3 sheets in the wind and proceeded to throw up on George’s shoes and they all got kicked out of the concert.
George Jones is one of greatest country singers. I like his gospel singing. RIP George 🙏✝️❤️
Now that’s a memorial! Holy George !
Great to see you travelling to these historic places and showing us as I'll never get to see. Such a blessing to have found you. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much!
This tells you my age! I went to many of his concerts, and loved them all! His voice was one in a lifetime!
Thank you for all the history you bring to us. This was a nice piece & I appreciate you sharing

Country music ant Country anymore !
It is more like Country Pop & Country Rock since about 1980 or so. A few exceptions here and there.

You are so welcome!
Whos gonna fill their shoes?? I doubt anyone will !!
No one can. Country Music, in MY opinion, has died. What we have now is rock using the name county.
Jerry Chessnut wrote T-R-O-U-B-L-E that Elvis recorded in 1975 and Travis Tritt in 1992.
This is my home, I hope they treated you well! 😉
Everyone was great!
