Poppy Playtime is a survival horror video game created by indie developer MOB Games. The player plays as a former employee who is going in an abandoned toy factory that used to be owned by the game's company Playtime Co. 10 years after the staff have vanished. In the game, the player goes through a first-person mode and must solve puzzles. you can see that Kissy is scared... how she hugs herself when you go after them, and how she sits with Poppy... you can see she was traumatised in the past, and it only went worse...
Miss Delight had me on edge like I know the playthrough is 0 deaths but she kept getting mad close
Dude, she and her half-ripped off face were freaking terrifying!
Also, the part where how she operates as an enemy suddenly switches up on you toward the end of the chase so that she no longer tableaus/freezes in place when you look at her and she'll suddenly start charging regardless was a REALLY nice game dynamic for that, "OH SHIT WHAT THE FU--?!" reaction. **Chef's kiss**

it really is similar! the lore of both games circulates with kids, and kids souls/ organs or what's so over gives life to a robot/toy, but that doesn't mean both games are the same, though I must say that poppy playtime has a darker lore but these mascot horror games all started from fnaf.

I feel a bit bad for CatNap. Sure, he tried to kill us and all, but he used to be a human like us. He was tricked. CatNap worshiped the Prototype, and what did he get in return? Claws sliced through his head. Being betrayed by your hero? That's a horrible way to go out. Rest In Peace CatNap 🪦
Well, you know the saying: Never meet your heroes.
Keep in mind that CatNap is also responsible for the deaths of the remaining smilling critters, because one they weren't allowed to leave playcare and two he saw them as heretics for not obeying the prototype.
Mob games:since we aren't able to implement actual gore to the game, let's change the cutscene. Catnap, instead of just dying for the fire, will now barely survive, and out of desperation will offer himself to the prototype to show that, unlike mommy, he actually wants to be part of the prototype.

Catnap sacrifice himself to the prototype
At 1:52:24 and 1:55:30 you can see a laser pointer. If you remember in chapter 2, in video vhs about Prototype, he build a laser pointer to escape. It meas he was watching us. I think he helps us beat Catnap, so he could collect his body. I think he was watching us from the beginning, he maybe the one who unlock the door, when we were chased by Huggy. He appeared at the moment when Mommy died. He appeared at the moment we beat Catnap. So, my theory is: only with the help of a Prototype we beat Huggy, Mommy and Catnap. Only for his goal.

Poppy Playtime Chapter 3 was probably the most terrifying chapter out of all. 6:40 Proves it by what the kid saw. The interview was crazy. 1:15:59 and 9:10 The last voiceline from the cardboard cutouts was truly made the game stand out. I love this chapter out of all, but chapter 1 and 2 are classics either way. Im still just very happy that this chapter was born. The crawling smiling critters really gave me a shiver down my spine, 1:22:04 and 1:44:48 was probably the most spine chilling. A jumpscare following with a huge loud bang from the door (FYI Im wearing headphones so like my ears hurt so bad after watching this whole video.) But the other than that, that you for showing me this gameplay because I don't have a computer. So tysm for recommending this video for me. Keep up the good work!

The original smiling critters' deaths beside DogDay and CatNap are kinda depressing. While most of them died trying to escape or eaten by another toys, some like PickyPiggy and CraftyCorn were succumbed to the madness like the former convert to cannibalism and the latter become murderous monster
Matpat theorises that Poppy's father, Elliot Ludwig put her in the case.
Matpat also theorises that Ludwig became the prototype.
Soon Poppy reveals that the prototype put her in the case.

What i noticed is that the dog 12:16 of happy critter in the early cartoon is in the same pose with his arms spread out as the giant dog that ends up chasing you with.

I believe that "Ollie" might be part of the Prototype's conscious. Once you reach the exit in the next chapter, it'll see it as an opportunity to escape from Playtime Co. and allow the others to feed on everyone else outside the factory.

I've been waiting with great anticipation for chapter 3 for a year and half but I haven't played it.
Very good job playing this, like all those batteries, where you find them and where to put is a whole nightmare. Also the last part of I don't know how it works you are suppose to move batteries around for 5 minutes to some how prevent Catnap from attacking. Honestly A tough game you have to memorize stuff. Good job playing this.
