Well there's always Yooka--Laylee.
Pathetic as usual. They took one thing out of an entire game and made a game out of it. I FUCKING hate when movies and games does that. The sequel has a former minion or servant as the new bad guy? He was the low class men of the true evil, how the fuck would he ever be able to live up to a greater threat before if he can't face that evil! stupid
And there was two ways to go about it, if you played the classic way by ramming yourself into him, or if you played the new way by shooting grenades at him.
There's also taking too much damage from the floor when burned (again, why would you do that) or touching Old King Coal enough. An alternate being jumping and using a pecking attack, which actually does more damage than blue eggs, but you're more at risk for taking damage.
He was likely made easy on purpose, since you ultimately have to beat him to fight the final boss. You need to beat him in order to be able to use the train, you need the train in order to get into Grunty Industries without using cheats or exploits, and you need to get into Grunty Industries in order to get those shoes that let you walk up walls, which is necessary in order to access the Tower of Tragedy quiz.

Fun detail I noticed is that Mingy Jongo immediately sounded sus with the "Hello Banjo" instead of calling him "bear" like Mumbo Jumbo usually does most other times. And he certainly doesn't say just... hello of all greetings lol. I just love that attention to detail for hinting to us that something is off with him. Also the detail of his disguise literally falling off piece by piece is something I never noticed until now and that's wicked! Also, top tip for those who have not played this game: please go into that battle with at least two health! The hit he lands on you *does actually damage you and is unavoidable due to being part of the cutscene!* Thus it being the only damage that you are allowed to take on any legit no damage run. So yeah. Also man scared tf outta me as a child! He still kinda does lmao. Anyway classic game, best sequel to any game imo 👌
30:04 I actually feel really sad for Klungo. I wonder if he’s insecure about himself a lot because of Gruntilda beating him a lot. If I was Mrs. Klungo and I heard about this I would whoop Gruntilda’s ass! That’s her husband!

MR PATCH THE STRANGE WOBBLY INFLATABLE THING!!! yay!

I actually feel really sad for Klungo. I wonder if he’s insecure about himself a lot because of Gruntilda beating him a lot. If I was Mrs. Klungo and I heard about this I would whoop Gruntilda’s ass! That’s her husband!
Congrats on makeing it to Smash Banjo and Kazooie!!
Man my childhood lol I liked this game but didn't get to finish it when I was a kid cuz I would get lost in the levels. Still was a fun game for the time I spent with it. I stopped after I beat mr patches. He freaked me out as a kid cuz of how big he got
I love how their go to idea is to not crush the skull or hide it, but instead have play catch with it.
21:31 R.I.P Welder, May he rest in piece.
But wouldn't he technically be in pieces?

Funny because the mombo imposter hurts you at the beginning of the battle so you do take damage
bleachfanbk True! xD
It doesn't count tho
Yes it does. In fact, if you only have one honeycomb left when you watch that cutscene, you will die.
But he has no control over it
That's like saying you being born is your fault
Weldar, "How about a few Nuts 'N Bolts?"
Fans, "NOO!!"
