Dan, love the "Y" but dont you think the costs are rather expensive. My comparable Kampa Air 400 canopy was only £ 400 even with the optional side panels. Just saying. Nick T.
We are avid sun canopy users, love and use our Kampa sunshine pro canopy so much that we sold the awning and have no intentions of buying another any time soon, I like the Y sun but would likely choose the Arc over it but at £900 the Arc is just to expensive compared to it’s competitors, also the big benefit with the Kampa that makes it much more usable in this country is it’s clip on side panels which the Arc is missing so don’t think I would rush out to buy one, the Isabella’s look great though and you can guarantee it’s going to be good quality
Excellent vlog Dan, we bought the Shadow along with an end panel last year and to be fair it's the best thing we've ever bought, when used with a windbreak it's cozy, seconds to erect and dismantle, if it gets damp it's just so much easier to dry when we get home.. Thanks again..
I bought a nylon tarp plus some telescopic poles from eBay and machine stitched a length of Keder strip to one edge. Result is a 4 x 3 m canopy for £25 and it weighs less than 3 kg. One person can put it up in a few minutes. The eyelet arrangement on the tarp allows for different set ups to create either a lean too or apex style canopy. I don't bother with an awning anymore.
We first had a poled awning, then a kampa air awning which we preferred to the pole but now we have a kampa sunshine air 400 canopy which we much prefer now. You can get a set of sides for it but we just put one side up and with a metal dog pen around it it’s both closed in but still open if follow what I am saying. After all when it was sunny you would open up the front of an awning anyway so a canopy is the way to go.
Hi are you able to review Thule omnistor, I had Isabella awnings for years and have seen the Thule range on many motorhomes but not on caravans, I’m not talking the high end price ranges but the lower end slip into the awning rail units?
Really expensive! Loved the last one 👍 Could you do a review on windbreak/enclosures for dogs please? We have a Kampa air awning and matching air enclosure (5 piece) however we can’t use the enclosure on its own as it attaches to the awning. Would like a suitable enclosure set up but with a sun canopy - any ideas?!
I’d rather use my air awning with the front panel zipped out. That way you can zip the front back in at night to keep everything safe and dry. For short trips an Isabella Shadow is perfect.
Thanks for this video Dan, been thinking of getting a canopy for a while. Would love to see the Air Y in the flesh because my initial impression is that it's neither use nor ornament and prefer the Air Arc, but unfortunately not at those prices.
The big challenge for me with the air canopy is that the majority of air awnings do the same thing by simply just removing/unzipping the panels. This makes them much more flexible. Last year we went for one of the Outwell Tide models which you can completely remove the bulk of the pane should you wish. Why buy 2 items when 1 can do both? However after saying that the models shown here do look very nice!
Hi Dan great information. Awnings look fab and I would definitely choose the middle canopy too. Have just subscribed to Readily. I spend at least £15 a month on magazines so a real saving for me. Thanks 😊
i know they are really good awnings but them prices are way too expensive, you can get a canopy on the bay for £79 and we have had ours 5 years no problem at all
Nice video Dan, nice to have something you can put up with it finishing in a row or a divorce!! Nice a straightforward for to odd day or two away, thanks as always 👍🏻👍🏻
@@TheTrudgians no disrespect Dan. I've followed your channel from the beginning and really found it helpful since we purchased our 1st van in 2015 having upgraded from a tent. However the recent videos seem more about recommending a single product be it a dishwasher or an awning which you never used to do..Paid promotional videos may give you a few £'s which is all well and good but maybe the time has come to unsubscribe now. All the best for the future and keep safe.
Nice video Dan. As others have said they are expensive though. I wonder if the Isabella Shadow is going to be replaced by the Loggia? Just had a look on Ebay and the Shadow 300 can be obtained for less than half the RRP of the Loggia 300.
Really enjoyed the vlog. I appreciate the time and effort you go to making them. You asked for opinions so don’t kick me lol, in order , Number 1, Not nice to look at, just a sheet struck on a pole, 2, Nice Canopy, Air which is useful, nice to look at too, 3, Really Futuristic and looks nice too. Unfortunately Isabella are way too expensive ( Sun Canopy) if they’re seriously wanting to compete they need to look at their prices. We have a Kampa Sun Canopy, third of the cost compared to some shown. Thanks Again Though Dan,
Dan, If you know of anyone doing any offers on the Isabell Air Y, drop us a note :-) Ally wants one like yesterday .. lol Have they not given you a discount code?
Very nice but I agree with many of the above ... way too expensive. My large air awning was that kind of money & it gives me the option of fitting the side panels or leaving them out.
Hmm I cant help but think if I see anyone on a site with this canopy knowing how much they paid for it, I might have to hold back a snigger!! Crazy price...
These prices are taking the P. Less fabric than an awning but cost more. I really don’t see the point of these, 10 mins in there’s a bit of sun , guess what? The canopy isn’t generating any shade, if it was wet & windy the rain would be blown in. Better off buying a small cheap awning like a sunncamp.
Thanks for this but Isabella have seen you coming with prices like that. £391 is madness and £927 / £823 absolute daylight robbery. Isabella have ridiculous pricing at the shows we don't even bother to go on to their stand but then I expect that is how they like it. It's a very expensive badge.
3m sun canopies are a complete waste of money - they certainly will not provide any shade unless the sun is directly overhead. As for the triangular thing - at £800 + surely better to have a proper porch awning?

That Y canopy looked just the ticket for us, not too much, but a bit of shade from the sun or wind if we need it.
Thanks Dan! 🙃
Same here Dan, i cant see the value in the Arc or the Y at these prices.
You can get a Fiamma Caravanstore awning for a similar price to the first one. Stays on the side of the caravan so less hassle

I am tempted with a canapy as a single caravaner my awning mostly stays in its bag in the boot of the car.
We have the Isabella Shadow. Brilliant bit of kit.
Thanks Dan, some lovely canopies. 😀
We use a Towsure Portico 260 sun canopy. Less than 5kg, goes up in 5 minutes, has sides to it and costs less than £100. Brilliant bit of kit. 👍

Can’t see how Isabella can justify the price of them. Way too expensive for what is basically a piece of waterproof fabric.

How do they withstand high winds? Or do you take it down?
@@stigz3570 leave it up,never had to take it down, for £79 if i get 12 months im happy but this as lasted well
@@fester. That's fantastic ! Will take a look on ebay. Many thanks.
Have to agree - its a bit of tarp with an awning connector
Great review Dan 👍
Am I watching a shopping channel, oh they have got you Mr T.
I love the Air canopy but could not justify spending £900.
Agree with you. That really is quite expensive.
Na same as others, porch air awning and remove/open front/side panels.
Pricing a tad over the top.
Nice canopies but oh my, the price!
Nice video Dan, nice to have something you can put up with it finishing in a row or a divorce!! Nice a straightforward for to odd day or two away, thanks as always 👍🏻👍🏻
A good presentation Dan but I agree with others, these prices are over the top.
Yes, but it's a paid promotion
The ad is the paid promotion, NOT the Isabella content.

Nice Dan,but to expensive for me
Great to see you again mate, nearly £1k for a canopy, bit pricey
Thanks Dan very interesting video 👍

@@TheTrudgians fantastic
Isabella Eclipse is the absolute best IMO. Wouldn't be without ours.
And it can be fitted onto your awning for extra space. Great canopy.
you lost me on the price , as soon as that was mentioned, wow, how can it be justified,
Nice pumping action. No, seriously, that pump looks a great idea. Get volume in first off to get it up and then finish off with more pressure.
Very nice but I agree with many of the above ... way too expensive. My large air awning was that kind of money & it gives me the option of fitting the side panels or leaving them out.
As you say Dan each to their own and what suits. Not for me but if it suits you then great

Why not just fit a pop up gazebo less than £100
The price of them is silly I would rather buy a air awning and zip the sides and front off
Very expensive for a couple of poles and a bit of canvas. No thanks.

Great if you don’t have pay for them. Same as all the reviews for the free netgear routers that were sent out.
what exactly do you think is free here? PS - i paid for my Netgear Router.
Well over priced for a peace of sheet
Too expensive, Kampa air canopy better in my opinion. High winds will be fun 😊
Watching for all the wrong reasons 😜
brilliant...
This video is an actual joke. Angle your poles? Really
