Dominique, quick note on how I thoroughly enjoy your videos. I have salt n pepper hair and it looks "unkept" natural so watching your video convinced me the way to go is sleek, sophisticated, updated haircut on gray hair. Wish me luck☺ I want to look my best as i embrace my age and the changes.
Your hair looks healthy and shiny! I just started using the Pureology hydrate line. The first time I used the shampoo and conditioner, I wasn't too impressed but after that, I really changed my mind. I think my hair was going through something due to my hormones and when things got better I realized that this line is quite good.
Hello! I am new to your channel and I am so happy to finally find a channel with such great tips. I have fine hair and it comes right pass my shoulders and it is just plateaued. I wear my hair down all the time and didn’t know that would break it off. My hairdresser does my relaxers and she is so rough and uses a small tooth comb after conditioning and she jerks so much of my hair out when combing it. My hair relaxes so quickly like yours so I wonder if I need to use a relaxer not so strong. My hairdresser never deep conditions my hair either so maybe I see why my hair is not growing. What relaxer do you use ? I am going to start doing my own hair because I pay a lot of money and she is not taking care of my hair health. Your channel is so informational and your hair is beautiful and you are also absolutely beautiful. Please help me through my journey as I start caring for my own hair .
Dand115 Dand115 Hi there! I’m so sorry. It truly is a struggle, isn’t it? Relaxers are really hard on your hair. I’m really grateful to have a good hairstylist. I really think you need to drop yours. She doesn’t sound like she’s well-versed in hair care (or doesn’t care). I would either leave the relaxer on for less time, or use one that is “mild” or for kids. You definitely need to deep condition using natural oils or a good deep conditioner once a week. Sounds like you may need a trim to start off with, then deep condition your hair. Mix some coconut oil into your deep conditioner, apply it to your hair after shampooing, and add some indirect heat (wrap your hair with plastic wrap and put on a steam cap or sit under a good dryer for 20-30 mins). Rinse out the deep conditioner and then either air dry or roller set your hair and sit under the hooded dryer again. I recommend this over blow drying and flat ironing because those can be harsh. Let me know how it goes!
Thanks for elaborating on the Clarifying Shampoo. My favorite is KATIVA for dry hair, it is Sulfate free. Also the SaloonIN conditioning Shampoo. These are the ones I like here in Ecuador. When I lived in South Africa, I loved the Schwarzkopf GLISS products! Amazing. This was really informative. You look beautiful as usual
I understand where you coming from I don't like to use a lot of products on my hair I do have my Staples I will try this but I still have my Staples because I really don't want to shocked my hair LOL thank you so much for sharing your shampoo products with us God bless you🌹🍃🌹🍃🙏
Great list of products I agree with you on the clear shampoos they do tend to leave the hair a bit dry and need lots of conditioner to smoothen it out....I use the garnia Brazilian Smooth, but I never tried the whole blends, I'm gonna look into that and also the Paul Mitchell I've used it years ago and totally forgot how my hair responded to it...tfs beauty..👍🏼🤗😍💖🌹
Hi @Style Domination, Do you know anything about chelating shampoo? I am relaxed and find it really hard to have soft hair. It is always so brittle. I just found out about this but I really want a good one
Have you ever tried Biolage Ultra hydrating shampoo and conditioner? I love it :) For drugstore I have been using herbal essence bio line. I use the Repair shampoo and conditioner. So nice!
#Argan Rain organic shampoo ## REALLY good. It's gentle and it leaves hair soft and shiny, not to mention it smells really nice. Would definitely recommend this!
