Looks amazing. This was quite a feat to do on your own with a baby. It looks really good. I have a homeschool space but I am still totally unsure how to organise it. Currently I have all our current curriculum, ref books and reading books and materials on the shelves on the homeschool space. Past curriculum that I can’t part with in our study, and more past curriculum from Sonlight in our bedroom closet, 😕. It’s everywhere. I find I’ll be reading to mine and be like ‘oh, u remember we read that science book last year in science B on this,’ and I’ll want to pull it out, down a rabbit hole and go deeper into that subject and I can’t. So I really like how you have past books on hand, and see how beneficial and scope that provides.
That’s how it was at our last house since the space was so small. A little bit was just sprinkled all over the house. I can’t seem to part with a lot either. Mainly because we still have littles who I know will use it. I would love to get another bookcase for the closet to better organize in there. It’s filled with boxes of even more curriculum and resources 🫣

Hey Shauna! Wow…you are amazing for getting so much done so fast in your new house! I’m impressed. Especially with a baby and a toddler! 😊 I just got a new bookshelf for my birthday 🥳 It’s almost ready to put in it’s spot. So I am excited about that. ❤
We aren’t fans of the Who was…series either. My husband thumbed through a few and said “nope!”
Also, I read the first two chapters of A Praying Life. 👍🏻 How is your reading? I’m SLLOOOWWWW. 🤷🏻♀️ Oh well. Slowly but surely.

Yeah I was in the middle of reading the Dr. Suess one to my kids when we all learned how he started out by drawing naked ladies. And that was the end of those books for us. We had some on hand that I had purchased all together so these were the last few that I needed to get rid of.
Honestly the week got away from me and I’m starting it today. We had some van trouble last week that took time away from being able to start. Are you enjoying it so far?

Deciding what I need to get as we will probably be in Sydney for events!!! Me and my husband homeschooled back in that time and it’s probably why we nearly didn’t but my freind we are moving in with did and his older kids with families homeschool!!! My older kids wasn’t allowed art supplies Unsupervised when they where toddlers!!! We tried pre reading with my now 6 yr old but she didn’t need it!!! My older kids are responsible for their own books for personal reading!!! We love the who was books but they are secular so I’m careful what books I buy of them!!! I’m thinking thru the move!!!
Funny thing is I never let him have the art supplies unsupervised. He seems to just find the random things on his own that the older kids forget to put away and then strikes 🤣 it’s always the one random crayon behind something that he finds!

Do you have your own binding machine?? I think I'm going to invest in one next year, but not sure which to get and don't want to spend a ton!

I do! I have a coil one but my husband recently showed me the thermal binding machines and I kinda want one of those instead so then I’m not inhibiting by size 🤣 there have been a few curriculums I have printed that I can’t find coils big enough unless I spend a crazy amount of money
