Justin’s absolutely earnest, plaintive “Who am I? Am I the man, the spider, that they say I am?” has had me lying flat on my back cackling loudly for the last five minutes.
I was nervous at the start of the segment because of that, but the rest of the segment showed the brothers know their Les Miz and put a smile on my face.
@@jonpinyan to be fair we could have ended up with another excellent example of what I call the "mbmbam warrior cats experience" which would have been pretty choice
“Incredibly deep in the paint with les mis” is exactly how I would describe myself 15 years ago back in 8th-10th grade and I cannot believe I didn’t write this wikihow
I’ve never seen Les Mis and now I never can bc it will never live up to what this makes me imagine PS congratulations, Noah! PPS *thank you* for doing the work to put the picture in the vid 🙏
I just... ok. This is a pet peeve of mine, but paper had largely taken the place of parchment for most uses by the 15th century. Les Mis takes place in the early 19th century...
I don’t think it’s an issue of historical misconception. I just think people don’t know what parchment is. People think of parchment as just old-looking paper but parchment is literally animal skin lmao. When someone says “parchment,” they usually just mean aged, coarse paper.
@@mephostopheles3752 either or. Whether not knowing when paper came around, or thinking parchment is just "old paper." The overuse of the word is the thing. XP Like said. Its a pet peeve, and an admittedly nitpicky one at that. Not really a true criticism.

Hearing Griffin try to pronounce Thenardier is absolutely wonderful. Master of the house, coach of team

It’s been months and I still sing “who am I? Am I the man, the spider, that they say I am?” to myself constantly
Travis and Justin telling us they're theater kids without directly telling us they're theater kids
They’ve always been theatre kids. Didnt Justin get a whole degree in acting lol
@@amandabacon128 I believe Justin and Travis both have theater degrees
@@prophetoftru7h this is late but also Travis used to work for a theatre which is how he got all his carpentry knowledge
