Hello sir! I've been watching your logarithm videos and you have explained everything in an elaborate manner which I found especially helpful, because you have shown how to apply different logarithmic rules in your solution. Don't mind the haters who keep complaining for not using much quicker methods, many of us like learning how different rules can be applied on one equation and from there we can develop our own approach to solving problems. Every good professor knows better 😉 thank you and please keep the videos coming! I'm studying for a very detailed test and your channel is wonderful!
You are very welcome JC! I'm sure you are an awesome student 👍 I'm glad you liked it! Please keep sharing premath channel with your family and friends. Take care dear and stay blessed😃 Keep smiling😊 Have a very happy and blessed New Year!
Thank you for these videos. I had to help my daughter do these kind of calculations and I haven't done these types of exponential calculations in years. Thank you for your concise explanations.
So nice of you dear! I've visited your channel as well. You are very talented and inspiring with great potentials. Therefore, I've gladly subbbscribeddd your channel as well. Thank you so much for your continued love and support. Take care dear and stay blessed😃
Better way I think is to just to split the base with a sum in the power as a product of 2 numbers with their own exponent, divide to get the constants one 1 sides and x's on the other, take x out, and just do 1 logarithm and its over. For example: 2^(2x - 3) = 5^(1 - x) 2^(2x) / 2^3 = 5 / 5^x 4^x * 5^x = 8 * 5 20^x = 40 x = log_20(40) or log(40) / log(20)
You are very welcome Najma! I'm sure you are an awesome student 👍 I'm glad you liked it! Please keep sharing premath channel with your family and friends. Take care dear and all the best😃 Have a very happy and blessed New Year!
Is it correct to say that when a log has no base specified, it is in base e and can also be written as ln? If so, why is sit sometimes written as log and sometimes ln? Is it just a matter of preference or are there situations in which the form matters?
Dear Cricri, when the base is missing, then by default it's 10 only. Hope I answered your question. You are awesome 👍 I'm glad you liked it! Take care dear and stay blessed😃

Hi Daniel. Just to check: are you watching on a phone or a small portable device? I ask because my eyesight is quite bad and I have no problems reading this on a standard PC screen.

Yes, thank you very much. I realised I had made a mistake when I kept on reading about logs. Thank you for taking the time to answer. It helps a lot.
You are my favorite UA-cam math teacher. I like your voice; it is relaxing and informative at the same time. Nice job.
Full solution in one page, + explanation very good lesson
You have really great explanations! You have my support.

@@PreMath Thank you very much for your support and kind words. Thank you for your content.
thank you so much it helped so much this topic was so hard but this video actually explained it well.
Amazingly explained!!!!!! Excellent job 💯🔥
Very nicely and smoothly you are explaining.

x = log_20(40) or log(40) / log(20)
Am learning a lot Sir.please keep up with different topics and your explanation are really great and easy to understand
Thank you very much my respected teacher ❤
