I miss Wafu Hamburger I had in Family Restaurant in Tokyo like 20 years ago! It was 980 yen & so delicious! It was served with some horseradish & Shiso leaves which is a Japanese basil, so it is basically a Japanese style hamburger! You should try it if you haven't. Oh, that Tamagoyski looked amazing! I LOVE eggs & my mom made me Tamagoyski at least once s week when I was little & it was yummy! How long have you been living in Japan? How has that happened? Thanks to you both for offering an escape. Sometimes we need to leave our own reality and escape into something else. This works for me.
The pork is friend then simmered for like only 2-3 minutes in a sauce with soy sauce, mirin, sugar, onion and dashi :) Then the egg is poured over while it's really hot so the egg cooks slightly! It is my most favorite Japanese dish.

Tomago is still a favorite of mine. My daughters are 25 and when they were about a year and a half we would go to the sushi shop and get tomago for them.

Best steak I had in Tokyo was at a Brazilian restaurant in Shinjuku. It came with a drink and the buffet. Pretty good. I think it was around 1500¥ though.
