I went into my local "British heart Foundation shop" 3wks ago and bought the most fantastic Solid Oak living room cabinet for £65 and a solid oak side/hall table for £25, was £25 for delivery ,so for £115 i got 2 incredible high quality pieces of furniture 😊 ive a farm house style in my home so im in the process of painting the table legs in a cream chalk paint and distressing them, leaving the top in the natural wood (just waxing that) Am now looking for an oak kitchen table and chairs (you can't buy 1 quality piece of solid oak furniture like this for under £3/400 ) its crazy what bargins you can get in these shops , i can't even remember the last time i bought clothes brand new "love a bargin" paid £4 for a vintage red 1950s evening bag a few wks ago and a brand new black leather pair of knee high Riding boots (where originally £89 but i paid just £20 from another charity shop they were originally from TK Max) they have never ever been worn and even came with the polish and water protector ect "im so in love" with my new buys 😍 xXx
I ❤ this video. I often shop in various charity shops across London. I mainly shop for clothes & CDs. My fav charity shops are Scope & the North London Hospice. The latter have a 3 CDS for a £1 deal.
What a brilliant work is done by these charity shops... When I was studying at the university in the UK five years ago at the university of hertfordshire I rarely used to buy what I needed if not from these charity shops.. and when I finished my study I donated whatever I could carry in two big bags to one of these shops in Hatfield so that someone else might get benefit from... But now being away from UK for five years.. I really miss all that stuffs so much.. to be honest I badly feel jealous of you.. as in my country Kurdistan we don't have such shops.. Best wishes..
Oh my goodness, did that wardrobe door have gemstones on it? They look like moonstone or opalite!! This store is awesome!! I love the M&Co jumper with the moons on it, that's really on trend....
I love this video Lara! Didn’t realise it was in oxford- not too far for a day trip for me. Will have to go one day. Maybe something to look forward to when my youngest starts school in September. 😘
Thanks for the video. please how do i get a large charity shop in Coventry, we are new here and just got a house to stock. its urgent please someone should help
Ooh this shop is really near me and I never knew! Thanks for filming this - the amount of new stuff some people on UA-cam buy stresses me out, so good on you for promoting second hand.
wow! even your charity shops are better than ours :D I wish we had 1/10 of it :D I only buy clothes in mine as there is nothing much more and actually they are not charities but second hand stores so... even so I love searching and buying pretty things for small prices, it gives such satisfaction :D thank you for sharing! have a great day
Sometimes I see UA-cam personalities complaining about the price of stuff. Like a second hand t-shirt for £5.00 but they need to send money to the charity and keep the shop open.
I hardly ever buy clothes brand new, the only time I do is if I'm in desperate need of something! I honestly LOVE going to charity shops x

I wonder if charities exist that sell items exclusively for gift cards for food only.....supports multicultural diets and local grocery stores....
