"Rébétiko Maalouf" is a musical creation by Tunisian artist and singer Nidhal Yahyaoui , created during his residencies within L'Art Rue.
The first performance in Tunisia will take place in Dream City 2022.
"Rébétiko Maalouf" is an encounter between Mediterranean music of the 1920s : the Tunisian Malouf and the Greek Rébétiko. Languages, voices, and sounds intermingle and converse in unique harmony.
In the framework of the project ""Between Land and Sea"", co-funded by the Kulturstiftung des Bundes and by the Creative Europe Programme of The European Union. Hosted by the Onassis Foundation.
