Every single card/strategy worth playing has a hard counter.
Also that’s partly why you run Armor and Prof X.
You’d be surprised, this deck wins pretty hard against destroy archetypes. Jean and Valk also really disrupt them

Im BulkHuster your third opponent, i knew i was gonna make it to the video lol, i was playing LT Hela and was on one of my smoothest gold conquests without a single loss until i faced you, that Echo and Jean grey along with those "great" locations made it a "Living Hell" for me (see what i did there), i just couldnt do anything but i guess thats what happens when you get countered, gg man it was a pleasure i have learned alot from you👍

I was BulkHuster his third opponent, i was on one of my smoothest gold conquests without a single loss until i faced him, that Echo and Jean grey along with those locations made it a living hell for me, basically a direct counter, very unfortunate

Thanos Zoo is absolutely insane. The hardest matchup for the build is probably SheNaut because of its power output but you have good counters. There’s a few ways you can run it but my version uses Spectrum because between Power & Soul Stones, Devil Dino, Klaw, Prof X, Armor, Cosmo and Super Skrull you have plenty of strong targets. You counter the big decks right now insanely hard.

I have played a Zoo deck two seasons ago and I have learned that it's good to have Ghost and then spam ones along Shannah the last turn. This way they can play Killmonger if they want and you don't care. ;)
Also - Dazzler worked fine for me.
Today, in conquest, I saw this deck a couple of times. At the start of the battles, I didn’t understand their strategy, but with avery game it got more consistency.

I created an almost identical Thanos Zoo deck (3:30) and played it to infinite the last two seasons.
In my list I swap Ghost for Mojo (works AMAZING with Jean Grey) and Jeff for Dazzler since she usually ends up being a 3/6 with upside.
Feeling pretty clever right now 😃

I said that because I handcrafted this deck on my own (without referencing any guides or lists) almost two months ago, and now I’m seeing creators finally pick up on it and the play rate go up.
So yeah, I clearly did have a good idea before a lot of people and it allowed me to surprise many people and steal many cubes on two separate runs to infinite.
Imagine if you created a home brew deck, took it to infinite twice, and then finally start seeing your favorite creators pick up on it almost two months down the road. It’s a good feeling; it’s validating. Not sure why you’d want to try and ruin that joy for me.
Honestly man, the fact you felt the need to try (I say “try” because you failed) to put me, a complete stranger, down like that is a bit sad. I wish you all the best bud.

Pixel armor is legit a good looking variant. I am so tickled she looks like she's doing one half of the fusion dance. She was in my shop a few days ago and I was so tempted to buy her. Next time I just might.
I just bought Jean Grey. She just seemed like a good missing piece for a lot of the decks I've been running (mostly Thanos). From my experience she either completely shuts down someone's deck and ruins their life, or she's does basically nothing. I have a strong feeling she will be a main part of the meta sooner or later, and be even more valuable. Right now though shes still a super good card.
Also. Spectrum I think needs a touch up. I just never like playing the card. For a 6 drop she's just kind of week .at only 5 power. In a zoo deck though with Blue Marvel and Kazar those buffs really add up along with her +2 buff.
This is by far the best (honestly the only) list for Spectrum, imo

i don’t have echo, and ghost is tempting for the valk synergy, but i think throwing priority would be very bad in this deck due to armor and prof x

It’s awesome when you run into strategies that you have counters for. That’s how you get those cube gainz!
@@DietersYT true true, oftentimes it does feel like the best way is to go for the counter meta approach.
I'm tempted to try a zoo deck as it has been ages since I last tried one but am pretty wary of how killmonger is extremely present at the mo. I don't have Jean Grey but she's been able to slow me down when I run into her a few times on destroy (unless Death becomes free then it's usually no issue) and obviously the armours and stuff are pretty hard counters especially if I've nearly filled a lane with stones I wanted to destroy 🤣
I dunno I guess I'm just skeptical after generally finding zoo decks to not really be that scary when you have killmonger
@@plugindaveI played a list similar to this (Mojo instead of Ghost / Dazzler instead of Jeff) to infinite the last two seasons. Trust me when I say it’s viable. The stats are there too - 3:30
Keep in mind, EVERY deck worth playing has a hard counter. KM is prevalent sure, but Armor and Prof X help to counteract that.
Also, win rate is less important than cube gain rate and it’s usually pretty easy to pick out when to retreat with this deck (I.e. opponent drops Deadpool into Carnage as you’re playing out stones without Armor, then they snap on 3…)
Usually if they are holding KM until later they will be prevented by Armor/X.
Give the deck a shot! I promise it’s better than you think.
@@plugindave also if you don’t have Jean I’d just toss in Dazzler, or maybe Cosmo (Cosmo can be tricky though since our own deck runs some key On Reveal abilities)

And good point about the retreat conditions too tbf, the decks that I find seem to work best r the ones that have super clear retreat cons as well as snap cons so when u put it that way it makes more sense
I think that one of best cards for this deck is GHOST. You can play your Valk at the end
I have given this deck a chance all day today. Had moderate success, but never attained an Infinity ticket because it really struggles with Enchantress. I'm tempted to swap in Cosmo, because in my losses Jean Grey was neutralized immediately.

Have they ever had limited time game modes in this? Imagine a 2v2 type mode with five locations, each having a hand and deck of their own, but share the same board and turn and you have to win three out of five.

It’s not needed imo. Armor and Prof X do much of the work. I hit infinite the past two seasons with an almost identical list.
Also once you learn to pilot the deck you’ll find yourself playing around KM with easy, and if do get KM’d it’s usually a pretty easy decision to retreat with minimal cube loss (for example, if you see Deadpool/Carnage come down on 1/2 and you are playing out stones without Armor and they snap, it’s probably best to just retreat)
I swap Ghost for Mojo (works amazing in the Jean lane, and can discourage the opponent from playing in to the lane they don’t know your going to Prof X). And I swap Jeff for Dazzler since she is usually a 3/6 with upside.
We need to have a name for the opponents Cozy gets in conquest. It is a bit tough to really see how good his decks are when people spew so often against him
It was a tough decision here, I ended up going through another run of conquest, to have game 3 quit out on me after a 2 cube lose which felt like a waste. Ultimately I felt like the battle with the terrible dead space play, still had a lot of valid takeaways which is why I ended up keeping the full run. I’ll be it I had about 4 incredible conquest matches off camera I wish I could have recorded, but 🤷

I’m not sure what you’re looking for? Not sure what you mean by “specific”…if you’re swapping cards for others those are replacements.
Edit: def wouldn’t recommend Nightcrawler in this list. Jeff is valuable because you are running Prof X. Nothing can “specifically” replace Jeff because he’s the only card that can play into locked locations. Personally I think Prof X benefitting from Marvel and Spectrum is enough and I wasn’t really feeling like Jeff was needed.

@@mariocaldera99 Jeff is not a must have in this list. The deck is perfectly capable of hitting infinite without it.
That said, I would highly recommend saving up for Jeff as he’s an incredibly good and flexible 2-drop in general. I would say he’s a “must have” 2-drop overall (in the context of collection building)
