Hi - that sounds like normal daytime operation. These lights are attached to the parking lights circuit which is powered anytime the headlights are on. During the day in most cases, they will be off. They should come on anytime the headlights are on. If you have any other questions or concerns please let us know! Thank you!
Dan - We only have one version of lights. It is difficult for our video team to accurately depict light output when they film these night shots, but having seen them many times at night, I would say they match up well with the brightness of the factory parking lights on the headlights. We also make these with White LED's, which are a bit brighter than the Amber version.

Never did understand why people install fake Raptor lights. They're not fooling anyone, especially when it's a Ram or Chevy. I'd much rather drive a real pickup than a fake Raptor.

I did convection just the way you showed, amber lights works nice, but as soon I turned the engine on the amber lights turn off
