this very flat concrete will break quite soon - looks nice as new, but within a few years you'll demolish it and the snakes will return until you've installed some barrier or net around the base of your house (and up in the attic too)
I was thinking that animals could get into the house both through the gap along the bottom of the house, and through the openings at either end of the house. I'm glad she wasn't hurt by the snake, and she closed up the openings.
