These are all the sounds of my childhood: Sergio Mendes/Brazil 66, Burt Bacharach, Herb Alpert, and last, but never least, Antonio Carlos Joabim/Jao Gilberto/Stan Getz because my dad loved this! My then married parents separated in 1976 after about 13 yrs of marriage, but my father still lives on.

She introduced us to Sergio, Tom, Joāo and all the other Brazilian musicians we had never heard of and who would become the soundtrack of your youth. They just don't make 'em like this anymore.
