The Journey: Part II - Episode 3

During production of "The Journey" in 2019, several recruits were separated from the 73rd Basic Academy for various reasons. Two of these recruits were able to rise above challenges and re-enter the Academy!
Ofc. Ashleigh Cash suffered a severe wrist injury which plagued her throughout the Academy and forced her to medically separate from the 73rd. Two years later, after being medically cleared, Ofc. Cash re-entered the Academy with the 79th Basic!
Rct. Quatum Hicks was also separated from the 73rd Basic and made an impressive return to the 81st Basic Academy. During his separation, Rct. Hicks continued to serve Chesterfield County as a Police Service Aide.
